Dr. Capella is the best! He is caring and informative and always has the time to take out for his patients. I highly recommend him.

My impression from day one was very positive

I haven't had the surgery yet - it will be July 22, 2004.
Risks - there are always risks in things we do in life.
Dr. Capella seems to be a very caring doctor willing to help those in need of a new life. His smile reassured me everything would be alright. The staff in the office is great! They help you through the entire process. I would recomend him to anyone looking to get the surgery.
Dr. Capella is a very soft-spoken, gentle man, and a great surgeon. Very easy-going.
I like him a lot. The only thing that bothers me about him is that he always seems
to be in a hurry and that makes me feel that
I can't ask all the questions I have for him.
Don't get me wrong, I realize he is extremely
busy and has a huge practice, I just wish he
could slow down a bit and spend a bit more time with me. I feel sort of rushed when I
am talking with him.

Thought he was very thorough in giving his presentation. The initial meeting really answered a lot of questions and pretty much took care of any concerns I had.
Met with him for a consult and received a surgery date. I have a lot of confidence in him as a surgeon. I will be paying out of pocket expenses and made the decision to pay the extra that the insurance won't cover just so I can have the best of care.
For the most part the office staff has been helpful. I had one bad experience with one person but everyone else has been wonderful and helpful.
3.5 weeks before surgery and I have all my appts scheduled. Alison called to give me some pre-op information and I found her very helpful in answering last minute questions.
10 days post surgery and I feel fantastic. Dr. Capella is truly the best surgeon. My care in the hospital between Dr. Capella and the staff was fabulous. I don't have one complaint. If you are looking for a surgeon who truly knows how to do this surgery with the minimal amount of complications you have to use Dr. Capella.
Dr Capella was quite interesting during my first meeting with him during consultation. However, that same night he proved to be a great guy with a concern for Obersity and a confidence that I enjoyed.
The staff is excellent, that make you feel so comfortable that I almost wondered if they were bariatric success stories themselves.
Once considering laproscopic surgery Dr Capella was open and honest and gained my trust by telling me the potentioal pitfalls in both methods of surgery.
Surgery is scheduled for April 12, 2004
When I went to Dr. Capella's informational meeting I decided then and there that I will have this surgery, with him! He is great!! He answers any and all questions I have without getting upset or tired of all my asking. Everyone at the office is really nice and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone for this surgery. Actually, I already did!
The first time I met Dr Capella was at the seminar he was having. He was very informative and very careful in making sure he answered everyones questions. My next encounter with Dr Capella was when I had my first appt with him. He again was very informative and made me feel very comfortable.
The office staff there are also wonderful, very attentive and always helping. They make sure you have an answer.
One thing I can say Dr Capella office wait time is a bit long but it is worth the wait.
Dr Capella is awesome doctor and I would recommend him to any who is thinking of gastric bypass.
