He seemed to be very abreasted to what I would need to do, and if he could realistically assist me.
Office staff alright
Keep calling those answering machines!

First impression was good. Gave me all the information I needed. I was very impressed with the bariatric center overall.

Great Guy, Quite but very understanding. I have liked him sence we first met. Now some of the office staff has problems but for the most part so far great care. Stay on top of Evelyn she really is the weakest link in the office chain. oes not like to return phone calls.

Dr. K was awesome from the get go. Although he's a quiet and very thoughtful person, I felt comfortable with him right away. I've felt the same way ever since I first met him. Nothing's changed.
His staff was very nice, but at times worried me. I loved Dr. K just fine, there's not a thing I don't like about him. I adore the Doc. However, the thing I didn't like the most had to do with the office mentality I ran into. Unless someone was pressed to do something, important papers and reports seemed to lie unnoticed until I would call up and rant and rave like an idiot. Then, suddenly people seemed to find the right things. I hated that I had to always stay on the phone and pester people.
Dr K's program is excellent. There is a team of dieticians who are very thorough and vigilant. They are very informative.
Dr K stated the risks quite frankly. However, I understood that there are risks with ANY sort of procedure.
I'd rate Dr Kaczmarski an A+ . While he's not the type to gush and be overly jovial, he did smile and laugh at things I said. His competence and his bedside manner both struck me from the same direction. He's not one to toot his own horn and go on and on about his own talents. I got a quiet sense of strength from him. It wasn't in so much as the things he said, it was more of a feeling of security I got from him. I could tell by what he did that he was being thorough and professional. At times, he didn't even say much at all. He sat typing in the answers to the questions he had asked.
I've heard of women describing their dates as "the strong, silent type". He wasn't a loud talker, either. I got an overall sense of strength and knowledge from his quiet mannerisms. For some reason, when Doctors are loud, talk rapid and move around a lot, it makes me nervous. Dr. K. was the exact opposite of that, and it made all the difference in the world to me.
Now, after my 6 week check up, he's still the same. Before surgery, I got a strong sense of reassurance and competence from him, and now? Everything's on a positive way up. He's very nice and is confident of my progress.
I just adore my surgeon. He's saved my life and set me on a new course.
I even took my daughter to my 6 wk to meet him. She saw him and in ten minutes, had gone over and wrapped her arms around his legs! He was unsure of what she was doing, but when I told him that she liked him and was giving a big ol' hug, he smiled and patted her back. He said "she's a real cutie". I thanked him. I told him that she was the #1 reason I had the surgery. He nodded and we talked about that.
What a doc! He's nice to me, my kid and my parents! I'd reccommend him to anyone!

Dr. Kaczmarski is a very nice doctor. He is very knowledgable about the surgery. I had the surgery at BTC in Columbus, Ohio. the nurses there are very, very comforting and supportive. I meet with the doctor and nutritionist 2 weeks after surgery, 12 weeks after surgery and then annually. I can contact the nutritionist whenever I have a question. She is very helpful.

My first impression of Dr.K was he really knew a lot about this surgery.
It has stayed the same he is a very caring and gentle person.
His office staff are very important people to help you make the right move.
I liked him from the very begining, the first app.that I had with him he talked to me about all the things I would be going through to have this surgery. He held nothing back he said this was a very big move for me.
He is a very honest person and caring.
A lot,if he says to walk and watch your intake of food he means it.
Yes
He tells you straight out that this is a very serious surgery.
I think he is a very caring person I would give him a 10.
I think both are very important to me .

I was very impressed with Dr. Kaczmarski the very first time I seen him. I have only had one visit with him and I have my pre-op testing set for Jan 31, 2002. My surgery is scheduled for Feb 14, 2002. The office staff at BTC in Grove City was very friendly. Dr. Kaczmarski cover all the risks and what things to expect from the surgery. Overall, so far I would reccomend him very highly.

I had my initial consult with Dr. Kaczmarski (pronounced katchmarski) on Dec. 11, 2001. He seemed just about like my gall bladder surgeon, at first. Explaining the procedure, going through history, nothing really to make it a personal relationship. I understood that he was the primary doctor but that I would have more interaction with his staff rather than him.

I then asked him why he chose bariatric surgery and he softened up. He said, \" because I can see the results of the surgery I have performed and how happy it makes the people!\"

I now know not to expect to see him a lot, so I do not have a bunch of expectations of him! As long as he does the procedure well and I come through it alive, I will be happy!

I did let him know to update his info on this site, however. and I will update as I find out more.
