Christopher Kaczmarski Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

I found him to be confident but not too "cocky". He was friendly yet professional. I felt comfortable with his experience. The BTC Ohio office was nice and the staff was ok. Mainly, everything takes so long and I felt like I was constantly shuffled around. I know if I hadn't been so pushy, I would still be waiting for approval. I almost went somewhere else, but thought I had gone this far and this is their specialty so I stuck with them. I have heard their follow-up care is good and I think this is important. I would suggest that if one chooses BTC, be prepared to do your own legwork and make those phone calls.

I was very impressed by Dr. Kaczmarski, he took time to answer my questions and did not shy away from the more difficult questions.I feel he is very straight-forward and he does not candy-coat his answers.The office staff were great they have taken time to answer questions concerning insurance and filling out papers so that my husband can take time off work to care for me. At BTC they have a structured program , you are seen at 2 weeks post-op,6 weeks post-op,3 months post-op and at 1 year post-op.Dr. Kaczmarski was very thorough and addressed all risks and complications of Distal RNY surgery.I have yet to have surgery, I am scheduled for August 3,1999.I will update this file after surgery.I really do not have any negative comments to make,I have been treated very professionally,all calls have been returned promptly. My surgery went great.Dr. Kaczmarski is a wonderful surgeon ,I highly
recommend him to anyone considering surgery.
