Kenneth Jones Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

My very first impression of Dr. Jones was very good. He is like a "papaw".

He seems very compassionate regarding obese people.

His staff is very informative and very friendly.

The only thing I didn't like about Dr. Jones is because he is so busy, I felt like I was a little rushed while in his office for check ups.

Any further patients of Dr. Jones should know that he is a very sweet, Christian man and he will be there every step of the way.

Dr. Jones emphasizes vitamins, exercise and nutritional eating everytime you go into his office (for both pre and post-op).

Dr. Jones discussed the risks of the surgery from the first time I met him. Also, he gave pamphlets on the risks and has all his patients take a True-False "test" to make sure everyone is aware of the risks and benefits.

I wish all my physicians were as caring as Dr. Jones.

I definitely picked Dr. Jones because of his surgical competence, but his bedside manner was also GREAT! He made me feel like I was a relative of his.

I met with dr. Jones through a consultation a friend of mine at work had surgery by dr. jones and it had been almost 10 years since she had surgery. dr.jones is a well informed surgeon. He discussed everthing that involved the surgery from recovery time to six months after surgery. everyone one in his office was very nice and made you feel comfortable. dr. jones tells what the risk and what the benefits of the surgery are. he emphasizes everyone to follow his after care instructions to a tee. I would tell anyone who is suffering the pains of carrying the burdons of extra weight having acid reflux and anything due to being over weight. they should talk to dr. jones . he is a wonderful doctor.

On 12-30-03, I meet Dr. Jones for the first time. He came so highly recommended by other people who he performed their surgery. He was very down to earth and talked to us like we were people. After a group session, he or his nurse meet with each of us individually. I meet with Dr. Jones. I at that time wasn't going to have my insurance pay for my surgery. But he told me that he would feel better if I just tried to get the insurance company to pay for the surgery. I did and they are paying for it. He is a great person and a even better surgery.

My first impression was that he was a very kind and relaxed person. I later researched and found him to be very knowledgable. The office staff is very nice. The only negative comment I have is that he is a very busy man and hard to see. Overall, I would rate Dr. Jones (on a scale of 1-10) a 10! Both his outstanding sugical competence and bedside manner are wonderful!

I thought Dr. Jones was caring and loves helping others. His staff is real nice as well. He is extreemly busy, but he had time for me. He explained every thing to us and gave some information as well. I'm looking forward to seeing him again!

Dr. Jones was the best! I am soo glad I went Open! I feel that is why I have not had any problems.

I was impressed by Dr. Jones the first time I met him. He was very helpful with all questions and explained the surgery and the risks in great detail. By the time I had surgery and was on the road to recovery I knew I had made the right decision about a surgeon. He and his staff are extremely supportive. I had some minor complications following surgery and he was right there to see about them. The whole staff has been full of encouragement. I would highly recommend them to everyone. His. surgical competence I know speaks for itself. He is the best at what he does.

He was President of the American Bariatric Association for many years and has been doing GBP surgeries for over 30 years. His mortality rate is much MUCH better than the national average.

He is also very caring and has a wonderful bedside manner.
I feel very confident recommending him to anyone who is considering this procedure.

I DID IT!!!!!!!!! I finally met with the surgeon. Dr. Jones seems to be a upfront, tell the truth kind of guy. He was a great help in his explanation of the procedure and the risks and he had answers for all of my quesitons. If his surgical competence is a good as his attentive manner then I won't have a thing to worry about... I am looking forward to this journey of a new me.

I Thought Dr. Jones was very nice and eager to answer any questions. He also held a group meeting with everyone there wanting WLS. His office staff is friendly also. If you are a self pay patient, his after care is included in his price. His prices are very reasonable, I believe he tries to make it possible for people who have to self pay be able to afford it.
