i really liked Dr.Sonpal he was very nice and understanding. he was not mean and explained the surgery to me and was very considerate.thanks doc,for being so nice!!

I like Dr. Sonpal very much. At first I was sceptical because I wanted an American Doctor but he was very knowledgable and I liked him taking time and talking with me. The office staff was very helpful from day 1. I don't feel the support is as great after the surgery, because there are lots of questions and nobody to answer them. He did a great job on my surgery and so far after 7 months I haven't had any complications, and I feel great.

At first he seemed a little put off by all my quetions but he answered everything well and seemed on top of the information of the surgery and recent research on it.
After the surgary he was very hands on and helpfull and supportive.
The Cleveland Ber. Clinc staff have always been good and helpful.
After care is a huge part fo the whole thing, groups follow-ups and supports are never under played as part of the success to the proccess.
Excellent materials given on the path to my surgary and to recovery. Many with support systems and phone numbers of past clients.
At a 1- so so and 10 the best he's a 9.9.

Dr. Sonpal was very direct and discussed the risks of having the surgery. He also told me of the importance of after care. I thought that he was very informative and I was grateful for his directness.

My firt impression : He was short and nice looking with a pleasent smile. He was soft spoken and very professionial. The office staff are all wonderful,professionial and are very good at their job. I really enjoyed Julie and what a warm and friendly lady she is. She really cares about you as a person and a patient and she's always there to help in any way she can. She is a true professional. these people are very imformative and explain everything about the surgery and there after. They call you at home to check on you, they really care about their patients.I would not trade any of these staff members for nothing !!

I was impressed with Dr. Sonpal from the first time I met him. He was so easy-going and made me feel at ease. He explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. He has a wonderful sense of humor!

I have only met him once. He was very straight forward and had a sense of humor. I liked the fact that he told you exactly what he thought about your medical condition. I like how he took the time to explain just exactly what the surgery would mean in the future in terms of 'exploratory surgery' for other medical conditions.

I like the face that he and Dr. Schreiber do this as a team and that they are both certiied in bariatric surgery.

He was very positive and hopeful that I would be a good candidate for the surgery and have success.

Unfortunately, I have not been back since my 10 day follow-up appointment.
Staff was very professional and polite.

I felt Dr Sonpal is a very friendly,and considerate person. He listened to me and answered any questions I had. If I had concerns regarding medications he offered alternatives and made other suggestions. I feel very comfortable having him as my surgeon. The staff at the clinic is very professional and friendly. It is really impressive how they are able to handle such a large group of people with ease. The only thing that disappoints me about the surgery is the waiting list for surgery. But obviously something we all have to do...

My first impression of Dr. Sonpal was that of a very busy and hurried doctor. Yet he took the time to listen and to talk with me. I was the person who took another to the hospital for his bariatric surgery. After the surgery the doctor met with me and let me know how things went. Me being the caregiver for this person, I learned first hand how he cares not only for his patients but also for those who love those patients.
