Indukumar Sonpal Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

When I first met Dr. Sonpal I found him to be a very serious, very realistic person who made sure that I was aware of all that I was getting into. Like other reviews I too found him to have a very compassionate heart, and a great sense of humor.

His surgical competence, and bed side manner are the best. I had the open procedure, with few complications. I am so glad he was my surgeon.

My surgeon is Dr. Indu Sonpal, at St. Vincent's Charity Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio. He is one of the best in the city. He has done Bariatric surgery for many many years and works with a team of Doctors that pioneered WLS surgery in Cleveland. Outside of God he is one of about three doctor's that I trusted with my life. He is kind and very informative. Very open to questions. St. Vincent's have the best aftercare program/support groups in the city. I'm 3 years out and still stay connected and can call anytime I have questions without feeling like they are tired of me. Both his bedside manner and surgical competence are great.

When I first met with Dr. Sonpal I thought he was uptight, the second time we met I discovered a sense of humor. He quizes you to make sure you know what you are getting into. He is very through and professinal and does his best to assure you and your loved ones everything will be fine. The staff and the enviroment is great they are all very helpful and everything is set up for \"big\" people. He or his partner is on call every night and every weekend. During business hours if you have problems you call your assigned nurse and they will advise you. He has a great bedside mannor and is an excellent surgeon. I can not say enough good things about him.

I loved Dr Sonpal! He is very experienced and his staff is truely great. He is very no nonsense is his approach but has a great sense of humor is given a chance. He and his staff have been great at helping me both before and after surgery. They emphasis going to support groups and have follow-up care up to 18 months post op. I would highly, highly recommend him.

Dr. Sonpal was a wonderful and caring man. He make you feel comfortable right away. His bedside manner ROCKS~~~!!! I was readmitted twice for dehydration and he set me straight. Check everything out to make sure I was ok.
