Indukumar Sonpal Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

The hospital stay was brutal, I believe that tended to color my view of everything! The surgeons did an excellent job, but I was not completely happy with the beside manner at the time. As I look back, it doesn't really matter, I'm just so glad I went through with it!

DR. SONPAL MADE MY EXPERIENCE A VERY HAPPY ONE .I THINK HE IS THE BEST.IT'S BEEN A LITTLE OVER A YEAR AND I STILL FEEL THE SAME WAY ABOUT HIM. THE OFFICE STAFF IS ALLSO ONE OF THE BEST THEY WHERE VERY EASY TO WORK WITH.AND WAS ALLWAYS THERE FOR ME. IF YOU LISTEN TO WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY AND DO WHAT THEY TELL YOU YOU SHOULD'T HAVE ANY TROUBLE. I DID ALOT OF CHECKING BEFORE I HAD THE SURGERY AND HE WAS WHAT I CALL THE BEST. MY STAY IN THE HOSPITAL WAS SHORT AND MY RECOVERY WAS FAST. IT WAS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE FOR MY SELF. HIS SURGICAL AND BED SIDE MANNER WHERE GREAT.

I felt very comfortable meeting wwith Dr. Sonpal. He was very nice. He came very highly recommended by surgeons I work with at another facility.

Haven't met him yet. I have my first consult on August 21st!

Met Dr. Sonpal today (8-21-01) He was very friendly and humorous. Told me point blank I had to quit smoking and I can tell he is serious about that! More importantly he was very confident and I really liked that about him.

Finally met with Dr. Sonpal--very nice man, and very to the point. Took me 8 months to finally get an appt. The center is extremely busy and have recently hired another physician! He was very honest-your outcome really depends on you!

I've meet with Dr. Sonpal twice, in June of 1999 and June of 2001. He was very understanding and very humorous. The first time I met him, he explained the entire process to me. He was honest about the procedures, the risks, etc. The office staff is just great. I know they're busy, but some how they make up for it. After I was approved by my insurance it only took 3 weeks to get a surgery date. I'm very pleased with their service

WHEN I SEEN DOCTOR SONPAL I IMPRESSED THAT SOMEONE COULD KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT MY CONDUCTION WITHOUT KNOWING ME. MY HUSBAND DIDN'T REALLY LIKE HIM. HE THOUGHT HE WAS TOO SHORT. BUT HE DID NOT UNDERSTAND WAS THAT I DID MY APPOINTMENTS BACKWARDS. HE DOCTOR SONPAL DIDN'T GO IN DETAIL BECAUSE I HAD NOT GONE TO THE SIMONOR YET. ALL OF THE STAFF WAS VERY KIND AND HELPFUL.

Dr. Sonpal was great from the start all the way through surgery. I don't have my first follow up until August 7, 2001. The staff at Dr.Sonpal's office are wonderful people to work with (thank you Sherry for all of your help). The only thing that I can recomend at this point in time is to go to the seminar that they offer.

I KNEW OF HIM FROM MY WIFE HAVING SURGERY SO I THOUGHT HE WAS O.K

AFTER I TALKED WITH HIM CONCERNING MYSELF HE WAS VERY NICE. INFORMED ME OF EVERYTHING I NEEDED TO KNOW WITHOUT ME EVEN HAVING TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS.

THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE AND HELPED OUT A LOT.

OTHER THAN THE TIME SPENT WAITING TO SEE HIM EVERYTING WAS GREAT.


IF ANYONE IS IN HIS CARE THEY HAVE A REAL GOOD DOCTOR TAKING CARE OF THEM. NO WORRIES ARE NECESSARY.

OVERALL EVERYTHING WAS GREAT.

I owe my new life to Dr. Sonpal, he is very professional and runs a proffesional office. He expressed all risk of surgery more than I cared to hear. I had the most confidence in his ability.
His staff is the greatest I can't say enough about Sondra, Sherry, Genny, Beth and Julie. His aftercare program is structured with care. I rate Dr. Sonpal at 150%.
Dr. Sonpal has an excellent bed side manner and his surgical competence is the best.
I wish all pre-op's could be his patient.
