Indukumar Sonpal Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

First impression was that he was hurried and did not have much bed side manner.

Later got to know him and find him to be good. He still seems hurried but much more plesant. I would rather have the expert surgeon than a standout personality

I had my consultation with Dr. Sonpal today. I arrived early so I brought a book to read. One of the nurses told me to come back and she would get me weighed and registered in case he got there early. Dr. Sonpal was very nice and put me at ease right away. He answered any questions I had and asked me a few questions. The office staff were friendly and helpful.

Dr. Sonpaul was very professional and genuinely concerned about my personal situation. We discussed in length my problems and he gave me some programs to follow to insure a successful surgery.
The office staf is very friendly and concerned as well.

My first impression of Dr Sonpal-I couldn't of picked a better doctor. He seemed very concerned for my health and answered all my questions. My husband who went with me to my consult also liked him.

I had my consultation on Feb. 12 with Dr. Sonpal. I was quite please with him. He answered all of my questions,and believe me I had a lot of them. He didn't make me feel like I was taking up too much of his time, like some Dr.'s do. He took the time to explain everything to me in detail. Even took out pictures of how the surgery is done and explained the whole procedure to me.
The staff was busy but very efficient. Each person had a job to do and did it without hesitation.

I liked him immediately, he was very warm and funny. He made sure I understood what was going to happen, and liked the fact that I was well researched in the surgery. The office staff was great, all very friendly and warm. Basically, I'm on hold until the insurance approval comes through, but they explained the whole process to me and I have a good idea of how things are going to happen.

I have met Dr. Schreiber only once, back in August, for a consultation. He was very serious and clinical. Both my husband and I were very impressed with this as well as with his knowledge and understanding. Dr. Schreiber's professional demeanor only lend credence to his talent. He is very thorough in explaining the surgery, his criteria, the dangers, and the aftercare necessary for success. I have confidence in Dr. Schreiber. I have had much more contact with the office staff over the past six months, and have nothing but praise for them. They are a very compassionate group of people, who have the patient's best interests at heart. I have never met a more helpful, respectful staff. Got a call from CCBS yesterday to inform me that Dr. Screiber will be out of town for two weeks at the time of my scheduled surgery. I was provided the opportunity to change to Dr. Sonpal so I would not have to be postponed for two weeks. I was grateful for the opportunity. I have not met Dr. Sonpal, but I have read and heard wonderful comments about him. My surgery date was change by 1 day. I look forward to meeting Dr. Sonpal.

I really liked Dr. Sonpal, he met with both my husband and I and was very straight forward about what to expect but he also had a good sense of humor that made us both very comfortable with him. We discussed the surgery and alternative surgeries and what other doctors are doing. I had done my homework and knew what to ask. His office stafff was very efficient and had everything in order. I would rate him at at 10.
