My first impression of Dr. Gandsas was that he is very real,down to earth, easy to talk to. My impression has not changed. The office staff are very helpful, a wonderful bunch of women. There is nothing negative I can say about him. Future patients should know that he is very hands on. He does have an aftercare program, which consist of support group meetings. He does go over with you all of the risk involved with the surgery. Overall I would rate him the best! Both his surgical competence and bedside manner are great.

Dr. Gandsas and his staff are very nice and I couldn't ask for a better and more caring hosptial staff. So far all my pre-op procedures have been dealt with in a kind and caring way. I will post more after the surgery takes place.

I breifly met Dr. Gandsas at my first support group meeting. He appears to be a very informstive and straight to the point type of guy. The office staff that I met at the meeting seemed very nice. I believe that I'll get a better feel for Dr. Gandsas and his staff once my process starts moving along.

After speaking with the staff of a few other surgeons and collecting information via the internet, I felt comfortable enough to choose Dr. G after my inquiry conversation with his staff and attending a support group meeting where Dr. G was the lead speaker. When I had my consultaion and spoke with him one on one, I knew I was going to be in good hands.

I feel truly blessed to have such a great support team working with me.

Dr. Gandsas made me feel that my decicion to have WLS was a good one. He made me feel comfortable with letting him perform my operation. I am aware of the dangers involved but, Dr. Gandsas told me that if I did my part he would do his part and my safety top priorty. His office staff was very friendly and patient with me because I had all seven of my grandkids with me at my consultation. One of the nurses even took the time to give my grandkids crayons and something to draw on. I will be able to tell your more about his structured aftercare program when I atten my first support group meeting on August 30.

Dr. Gandsas was very forthright, professional, and personable. His office staff is extremely helpful. As a practice, they seem to be making a genuine effort to fully equip their patients to be successful after surgery.

My first impression of Dr Gandsas was one of pleasure, I have never met a physician that made me feel so comfortable to be "me". Every bit of my 329 pounds didn't seem to disgust him at all, he appeared to be interested in how he could help me over come the extra baggage. He was very kind and informative. He explained in great detailed what would be expected of me as the patient and what I could expect from him as a surgeon. He was up front about what the surgery could or could do for me. And he was very frank about how I would have to change after surgery. I could not have asked for any thing better, he was just Wonderful! I also received the same warm feeling from the office staff, the were just as nice.

Dr. Gandsas and his office staff are truly caring professionals. He is upfront with you and tells it like it is, he pulls no punches, He is truly awesome. His office staff karen, eileen, paula, and nancy are the best. They answer your emails in a timely fashion and right on top of things. I am so glad that I found Dr. Alex Gandsas

Dr. Gandsas was wonderful surgeron. After our first meeting I was very impressed with his overall knowledge and approach.

Dr.Gandsas is awesome and so is his staff! He is very professional and explains everything, risks and all.He is very confidant and makes you feel you are in competant hands. I do not have any hesitations in letting him perform this surgery on me. All of my concerns were immediately addressed and I was put at ease with both Dr.Gandsas and his office staff Karen R.N. and everyone. It was unbelievable how fast they worked to get me scheduled for all of my appointments. They all really go the extra mile. They even provide a nutritionist that works with you for a year very closely to make sure you are achieving optimum healthy results. He also stresses how important it is to continue seeing him for the rest of your life. I am very very happy with Dr.Gandsas and his entire staff.
