Had my first appointment w/Dr. Naaman, he seemed very quiet, but he answered all of my questions, and was very informative, in everything that he told me. I really appreciated that he offered to answer any questions that me or my family had at any time that they could all fill up his office and he would answer everyone's questions. it was a very pleasent experience, and feel very good about his surgical experience.......
I was impressed, he seemed very confident that everything was going to go great. The staff if very friendly, worked with me in every way. I think he is very experienced in his career. He has a very strict post op diet but if you follow it you will have little or no complications. He goes over all risks of the surgery. He is a 10 in my book. Everything was great.
DR. NAAMAN IS THE GREATEST!!!! YA KNOW THE SAYING GOES I'D RATHER HAVE A DR. WITH NO PERSONAL SKILLS BUT A HECK OF A SURGEON. THIS IS HIM . DR. NAAMAN IS SHORT AND TO THE POINT BUT I TRUST HIM WITH "MY LIFE" SO TO SPEAK. HE HAS DONE A RNY ON MY HUSBAND AND FOUND A LIVER ISSUE WE DID NOT KNOW ABOUT. HE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE OF WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE.I FEEL HE IS A HONEST DR. I HAVE NOT MEET ANYONE WHO HAS ANY COMPLAINTS IN THEIR SURGERY AFTERWARDS AND BELIEVE ME I HAVE TALKED TO ALOT OF WEIGHT LOSS FOLKS. IF YA WANT THE SWEET BED SIDE MANNOR TALK TO JULIUS. HE'S FUNNY AND ALSO VERY KNOWLEDGABLE.I FEEL THESE TWO DR.NAAMAN AND JULIUS ARE GOING/HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE. I DRIVE 3 HOURS TO SEE THIS DR. AND WE HAVE ONE ONLY 30 MINS AWAY WHO DOES THE SAME SURGERY BUT I WOULD GO AROUND THE WORLD TO BE TREATED BY DR. NAAMAN. I KNOW FROM MY HUSBAND THE AFTER CARE REMAINS JUST AS GREAT AS THE PREOP CARE. DR. NAAMAN ALSO HAS A WONDERFUL INSURANCE PERSON HER NAME IS BERNICE SHE HAS FOUGHT MY INSURANCE COMPANY FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS AND YET SHE DID NOT GIVE UP. SO IF YA SEE BERNICE TELL HER I STILL THINK SHE IS THE GREATEST. OH A MAJOR HELP FOR THOSE GETTING INSURANCE APPROVAL PLEASE GO FOR WEIGH IN 7 MTHS INSTEAD OF 6!!!! INSURANCE COMPANIES LOOK AT IT AS MONTH TO MONTH(ie:DEC TO JAN, JAN TO FEB ,AND SO FORTH) NOT MONTH BY MONTH(ie: DEC,JAN, FEB)I FOUND OUT THIS THE HARD WAY.IF YOUR TRING TO GET SURGERY PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP I KNOW IT IS VERY DEPRESSING SOMETIMES BUT YOU WILL WIN THE FAT BATTLE.GOD BLESS KIM KEITH
He iw as Very Nice and Straightforward with his explanations and had answered all my questions.
He has a very and I MEAN VERY mild bedside manner.
His Staff were telling me the DO's and DONT's before and after the surgery. They spent alot of time with us making sure that we understood what to do when the time came for the operation.
There was nothing i didn't like about Dr. Naaman.
When you go to visit him that you don't have to worry about him saying that "if you don't do this now your going to die". He expressed his concern and gave me my options. Dr. Naaman and his staff are very kind and informative.
He Stresses the walking before and after the surgery to reduce complications.
There is a support group for afterwards.
As for the rest I will reply to it after the surgery when I have those answers.
My first impression of Dr. Naaman was that he was really concerned about me and that I wasn't just more money in his pocket.
It just got better and better!!!!
The office staff were very educated and helpful. I saw his assistant alot and he was as impressive as Dr. naaman if not more but all of his staff are wonderful!!!!
There is nothing that I disliked about him.
He done a wonderful job and I am grateful to him for that.
He began talking about the after care the very first time I saw him and every time after that--He is very strong and straight forward about what you should be doing after surgery.
He does have a structured after care program.
He gave me the ups and downs and did not hide anything from me.
A 10!! (Or 100 if I may go that high!!)
Both have to be great! And between the Dr. and his assistant they have both and more!!!
My first impression of Dr. Naaman was incredible. He put my mother and I at ease as he described the procedure to us. His entire staff was excellent. Over time, I would say that I only felt more and more comfortable. His office staff is there to assist you with any and all of your needs. Julius, his PA is an awesome guy as well. Pam, the Nurse is very short spoken, but she is a great lady! If you are using Naaman, the person you will probably be talkingto most is Amanda. She is really nice as well! Dr. Naaman does not emphasize aftercare too much, but his surgery scheduler does, so you have nothing to worry about. Dr. Naaman does give you time to ask him questions, so make sure you have either a physical or mental list prepared, because you never want to forget to ask a vital question!
Dr. Naaman is such a sweet, gentle man. His office staff is great especially Pam (R.N.) and Bernie (Office Manager). I was recommended to him by a friend who had Gastric Bypass and she has lost 90 lbs (as of 7/7/04). After speaking with him, he asked me if I had any questions and I said "no but I have a comment...I have done enough research that I could give my own Seminar." He thought that it was comical. I rate him as an excellent doctor.
