Dr. Christopher is wonderful! He is so nice and understanding. He makes you feel great about yourself the first day he sees you and even better when you go back for follow ups!His office staff is always very informative and willing to help.

My first impression of Dr. Christopher was good. He explained everything about the surgey to my husband and me and he answered all of our questions. The staff was professional and friendly.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Christopher. His bedside manner is great as well as being very competent in his abilities as a surgeon. The office staff was very helpfull also. I am two years post-op so there have been lots of changes in the WLS program at their office, but I would recomend him to any of my friends or family, any have to several already.I have lost 130lbs. and have had no problems at all.

8/04/04 I met with Dr. Christopher today for my consult. It was very informative and he made me feel 100% better about the surgery. He explained everything in complete detail and answered all my questions. I spent about an hour with him and never felt rushed. I know several people who have used Dr. Christopher and I am glad they recommended him to me. He said he has done between 800-900 surgieries doing 5-6 a week. He also said he has been doing this for over 4 years now so I felt completely comfortable with his creditials. I now have to wait for the approval letter from my insurance. I have prayed about this for so long that I hope everything goes smoothly from this point on. Darrue

I immediately liked Dr. Christopher. He explained the surgery in great detail and answered all my questions.

My impressions did not change. I have seen him once since my surgery and it was a good visit.

The office staff is great - especially Dr. Christopher's nurse. She always returns my calls promptly and doesn't make me feel like my questions were silly. Since I live out of town, this was very important to me.

I was disappointed when he did not come to release me from the hospital - one of his associates did.

He is caring and extremely knowledgeable. He did not require a psychological exam and this surprised me.

He emphasizes aftercare, but the case worker at Brookwood gave me the information. I did feel like all the aftercare information was given to me too quickly. I was overwhelmed. But it was also give to me in writing and I was able to refer back to it. I also felt comfortable in calling and asking questions.

There is a structured aftercare program.

Dr. Christopher was very honest about the risks of the surgery. He explained everything that could go wrong and what he would do if it did go wrong.

I would rate Dr. Christopher highly. I was very pleased with my surgical experience with him.

Im having surgery on Aug. 26th, 2004, just 3 days from now...Im gettin excited and nervous

When I met Dr. Christopher a couple of years ago, he seemed so young! Well....I'm over that now, but he still impresses me as a doctor who really CARES about his patients and tries to spend TIME with them, literally drawing a picture of what he'll be doing and answering all questions. He never seemed rushed or on his way to "somewhere else" when he was with me. I know I'll be in good hands with him and his staff.

When I went back this year, I was treated like family. Everyone in the office seems genuinely excited about my WLS and my future after it. I anticipate a pleasant stay at Shelby.

It took me about 4 months to get my first appointment with Dr. Christopher. My Nurse Practioner had used him and I know all the back ground checks she had done on his work and she was pleased and used him for her surgery, so I decided to go with him as well. At the apponitment all went really well. He sat and talked with me personally for about 30 minutes. He explained everything and answered all my questions. Being a nurse, I knew some of the information but he spoke with me on my level. The before photos were taken that day. I was really impressed with him and his staff. I left his office knowing what to expect and a time frame. The cost of the appointment was comperable to what all the other surgeons were asking. My insurance had refunded my money, for the visit, within a month. It did take me 2 months to get approval but that was my insurance's fault. I did have to have a phsch evalutation. That did take almost 2 weeks to get that send to the right people. The one thing the impressed me the most is that Dr. Christopher didn't require me do any additional testing other that what my insurance required. After hearing what others are having to go through, I commend him on that. It has been a breeze for me getting my surgery scheduled and approved.

Dr. Christopher does appear to be very young but he really is very knowledgeable about what he does. During the consult visit he spent a little over a full hour explaining to my husband and I about the surgery and its risk and possible complications. The day of surgery and after surgary he always tried to spend time answering any questions and putting me at ease. He does not have a very structured after care program which I would say is the only thing I have found to be slightly negative. I personally would like a little more guidance following surgery. Overall I have found the experience with Dr. Christopher to be exceptional. He is a very good doctor with a great bed side manner.

Dr. Christopher is great at my consultation he was very informative. He answered all the question I had before I ever even asked him. He really knows what he is talking about. His staff is great.
