I was very impressed with Dr. Bertha' first impression. All my questions were answered at the seminar. I was very comfortable with my choice to have him as my surgeon. His knowledge and bedside manner was of the highest expectations. I wouldn't have changed a thing. I am now 5 months out ,feeling great and loving the results.

I would never leave practice even though some distance from home and work. Dr Bertha is the best doctor that I have ever dealt with. Has the absolute best bedside manner around.

I first met Dr. Bertha in May, 2008 at a seminar. I had an appointment at the end of June and am now scheduled for surgery on 7/28/08. Dr. Bertha and his staff were great! I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Bertha and his staff and would recommend him to anyone.

I had my Lap RNY surgery on 6/23/08 with Dr. Bertha. I was happy with everything about him. He visited me twice after surgery in the hospital (Morristown Memorial) and told me I was doing well. That was nice to hear! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone!

I met with my doctor twice. He is a very nice man who seemed like he had all the time in the world to talk to me. He answered all of my questions and did not get impatient with me. I feel good about my doctor and I know he has alot of experience with this type of surgery. I just cant wait for it to happen. June 16th ....YEEEE HAAAAW

I saw Dr. Bertha for my two week post op checkup today and was given a clean bill of health. During this visit, I was impressed wtih Dr. Berthas humility and kindness. I have been impressed from the beginning with this team, but reserved my written opinion until after my surgery. I will say surgery was not quit the cake walk I thought from reading others testimonials, but Dr. Bertha and his team did a great job from the start. They had me approved with the insurance company in no time (although I also have to say my personal GP was very helpful with this process as well). Once my insurance was approved, I was required to attend a 3 hour education on what to expect right before and after surgery. After surgery, I had some minor complications such as not being able to keep the pain meds down and dry heaves. The nurse practioner did a fantastic job dealing with a difficult pharmicist to get me the meds I needed during that time. Dr. Bertha took the time to answer my questions and offered answers for questions I had not thought to ask. I would highly recommend Dr. Bertha and his team to anyone contemplating this proceedure. A+

Very smart and straight to the point DR! office staff is great! and the girls there are real cute too! Jennifer who schedules the surgery dates was very helpful and nice. Bertha seems cocky to me but i liked that cause i rather have him cocky as a surgeon then not. the insurance people there will fight tooth and nail to get u approved i was approved in a week!!

My PCP recommended Dr Bartha. The first time I meet Dr. Bartha was at a seminar. I know he was the doctor for me because he cared about all questions asked. He even stayed after the seminar for any personal questions that you wanted to ask. He was really caring. rnrnThe first appointment I had with Dr Bartha did not change. I had a list of questions to ask him and he answered every one of them and took his time. rnrnThe staff are all great and are willing to help with any questions. Dr. Garrason assisted with the surgery and also took out my drain and released me. He was great and has a great personality. rnrnSo far I am almost 7 months out and every appointment I had with Dr Bartha or his nurse was great. The nurse answers all questions I have ever asked and there have been a lot. rnrnBefore surgery Dr Bartha went through all risk with the surgery. Of caurse I had many questions about the risk especially that it was my first surgery. When going into the surgery I felt a ease and not over whelmed or even scared. I felt like I made the right choose to me and that I had all my faith in Dr. Bartha. He was wonderful to me and my family. I would recommend him to anyone and I have.

Very patient but insistant that I would be happier with my results from bypass tham lap band even after I wanted ti change my mind because my family is afraid.The office staf is very helpful and they really get back to you when the can but the insurance people are probably the worst i called 1-2x's a week to geta date and I kept getting brushed off and told call next week we dont have the schedule yet finally i asked for a manager and she got my date the same day with two dates to choose from.We discussed the risks of surgery but because I have small high risk factors like active,no smoking am able to move around no resp issues and no diabetes he assured me that I should be find.
