I thought he was very religous and very knowledgeable. Office staff was very caring. I wish that there was more time spent after surgery didnt spend much time with patients in hospital.

Dr. Warnock was very soft spoken & the abundance of care & concern were shown in his every word. He took the time to answer ALL of my questions & address all of my concern's. He drew a diagram of the upcoming procedure, on the examining table & reviewed all of the aspect's of the surgery. Dr. Warnock took time to advise me of the possibility of complications that are present with this sort of surgery or any kind of surgery on an obese individual, as myself. Dr. Warnock is a deeply spiritual man, and that was a very important factor for me.

When i finally deceided to have the surgery i went through tricare, since i am a military spouse..they gave me a name of one surgeon that does this procedure on the army base i was not comfortable with that..so i branched out and found Dr. Warnock!..when i had my first consult he entered the room his voice is so soothing and just comforts you..he is a very spritual man and that made me even confirm i had chose the right one to help me..his office was nice and rustic country..lol..we are in Tx! the only thing is the wait i disliked, but as you know anything worth having is worth waiting for..after all these years i would have the chance to lose wait..he emphasize all the things i needed to do to help make this a success..well finally the time came the night before the procedure my husband and i were at the hospilitaly house right across the street from the hospital..i was so nervous!.but ready!.after signing in into the hospital and after that IV drip into another world..lol..all i remember waking up to extreme pain i had a tube down my throat so i could speak but the nurse held my hand and asked on a pain scale of 1-10 where was i?..i just kept flashing all 10 fingers but they gave me something for the pain hours laters i was in my room with my hubby beside me..i would have never made it without you baby..I LOVE YOU JAY!!!!!..i was up walking the same night by day 3 i was ready to go home but since i stayed out of town the doctor recommended i stay back at the hospitality house a few days just in case , but after 2 days there i went home to recover the next few weeks were hard! i missed thanksgiving but i was alright..i was angery at the family members who could eat what they wanted and i was just sipping on juice..too scared to eat..but after a while i was up and walking and back to my normal routine..that was 10 months ago ..i have lost almost 100lbs and have about 60 more to go before i reach my ideal weight!iam still coping with what i can tolerate and what i cant..it is a learning experience, but if i get the dumping syndrome..i just stay far away from that food or drink..Dr. Warnock has help change my life he is a very good man and takes good care of his patients i give him 100% just as he has given me!!

thanks for listning

Dr. Warnock instantly put you at easy. He has an awesome bedside manner and truely loves the work he does. From the first moment I met him and even when I was upset from a complication he put me at ease. He truely an expect at his field and I fell blessed that I had the privilge of having him for my doctor.

His staff is just as great. Freindly, efficeent and truely cares about my welfare. Everyone is upfront about the risks and understanding with what I am going through.

His nursing staff at the hospital are just as awesome. Everyone told me what to expect, how to handle situtations. They felt like a friend I have had forever.

I know alot of people have traveled great distance to see Dr. Warnock and I am sure he is worth every mile.

My first impression was very peaceful and comforting. Dr. W is a very humbel man who gives all his credit to God... that is great in its self.
His office is very nice, the staff is awesome.... but be prepared to wait. What I didn't like the most was the wait, of course he is busy and with any good doctor you have to wait.
Dr. W emphasizes aftercare very strongly, it seems like he really cares if you succeed.
He ws very straight forward with the risks during the consult and then again during the pre-surgery meeting he went over the risks. He definately informs you you of everything before he even does the surgery. The day before the surgery I meet with him and he asked if I still wanted the surgery and if I had prayed about the surgery... God bless this man!!
Overall from a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best) he gets a 15!!! Very awesome doctor.
And both: surgical competence and bedside manner are important and Dr. Warnock has both of theses wonderful traits.
Thanks Dr. W for helping me change my life.

My first impression of Dr. Warnock was WOW, what a compassionate Dr., he sat with me as if we had be friends for years. My impression only changed to he is a very compassionate man, a very annointed man. His Office staff is very friendly and they go the extra mile to answer your questions to asssist you in getting your surgery. If you are considering surgery and have the opportunity to have Dr. Warnock be your surgeon I have no doubt that you will be well taken care of. Dr. Warnock stress the importance of him being involved in the after care, he said tht once I am his patient he wants to follow my care until the end. we discussed the risks of surgery and the benefits of surgery. I am like this the benefits far outweight the risks. I would give Dr Warnock a 10. He is great! I think in order to be a great surgeon you have to have surgical competence and a good bedside manner but more importantly you have to have a strong faith in God and your God given talents.

My husband and I had to wait over an hour to see the doctor. When he finally came in we were impressed with his professionalism and his caring attitude. I was a little put off by his "rehearsed script", but I excuse that due to his experience in this type of surgery. I feel very confident in his abilities as I have several friends who he has done WLS and others. He came highly recommended. I can only pray the Lord will guide him throughout my surgery as well.

I was totally impressed right off the bat with Dr. Warnock. He is a caring, compassionate man who is in the business of changing lives for the better. He is a strong Christian and believes that he and his patients are successful because of their beliefs and gratitude to the Lord. He has more than 20 years experience, and an unbelievable success rate! The front office staff is not very friendly, but Rhonda helps with insurance/billing and she is great. Kim is also wonderful. She has been through the surgery, is a nurse and advocate for patients. There is also aftercare or support groups that meet, but I do not attend since I live more than 10 hours away. Dr. Warnock was very frank and open about the risks of surgery, but he helped my husband and I weigh the advantages too....and the risk to me WITHOUT the surgery, as well. My only concern at all about Dr. Warnock is that because he is so superb, his business if flourishing to the point to where there are SO MANY undergoing the procedure. By the end of my process, I did sort of feel like a "number." Dr. Warnock is always available for phone calls and I believe he truely cares about me and will remember me when I need him. Also, an afterthought...Dr. Warnock only does open procedures. I do now wish that I had searched a little harder for a surgeon that did the procedure laproscopically. My scar is so unsightly. I didn't think it would bother me, but it does. Overall, I was very lucky & blessed....no complications and great care.

I met Dr.Warnock Aug.friday 13th I was a little nervous having to travel 3 1/2 hrs. But the minute he walked in the door to speak to me I felt a peace come over me..He was very informative about the surgery and his creditials were awesome!!! He made me feel very comfortable and excited about my soon to be new life. He has a beautiful bedside manner, and confident about his skills, but best of all the aftercare is life long and thats what reassured me about my decision to have the surgery. I rate Dr. Warnock and staff a 10!
