Dr. Warnock is a soft spoken man who seems to truly listen to you and addresses your questions. He explains thoroughly on your first meeting what to expect and explains the risks involved with surgery. I truly believe this is a surgeon who cares about you as an individual and wants your entire journey to be a success.
His office is staffed with informative, patient, and professional individuals who took time to explain further questions I had thought of.
I believe, not having had the surgery yet, that surgical competence is more important than a fantastic bedside manner. The impression I received from Dr. Warnock is that he is not only a very skilled surgeon, but also patient and a good listener.
I felt he was very caring and wanted to give me as much information as he could about the surgery.
I still feel he is a very caring doctor and his care after surgery is as excellent as his care before and during surgery.
The office staff is first class. Very professional and helpful.
I haven't found anything to dislike yet.
He truly wants his patients to have a better life.
He greatly emphasizes aftercare. The support group meets monthly and he is at almost every meeting.
If I call with a concern, he is happy to talk to me either on the phone or in person.
He has information in booklet form on what to eat at each stage of recovery.
He told me up front about the risks but stated that he would do everything he could do to minimize the risks.
I believe he is an excellent surgeon and a competent, caring man.
I would like both surgical competence and bedside manner and I have both with Dr. Warnock.
I happen to work at URHCS where Dr Warnock works. I have had a working relationship with him for 5 years. The past 2 years in recovery room status. Over the past 5 years my feelings toward and about him have evolved drastically. He is a Very Talented surgeon who is dedicated to his patients. His office staff is also very dedicated to his patients. He has a wonderful bed side manner that has occasionally been taken as being brisk, this is only because he is a very busy man. However, if there is a patient who has concerns/problems, he is right there. He is the only surgeon that i have even known who's home phone number is NOT unlisted. It took me 2 years to finally decide to have the surgery. When I first visited his office, I had a very stern line of questions that I wanted answered my way or else I wouldn't proceed with the surgery. (In short, I set myself up because I wasnt ready.)
A godly Man up front to the point
Office stuff at frist great but has decrese it could be the holidays coming up the cost up front 1600 but thay don't tell you will be also charge up front from the hospital carse I got what I need to do this what thay told me at frist but the hopital want 876.00 up front and when you get 689. a mo thet is a hard spot to get in to
He is a great doctor and I used to work with him at the hospital when I was a LVN. I have been on disablity since 1999 because of pseudo-tumor cerebri, which is increased spinal fluid pressure. My body reacts to this disease as if I had a brain tumor. My impression has not changed, and his staff and office workers are very nice. He treats everyone with great amounts of respect and does not try to demean you in anyway, he also does not try to pressure you into doing something you do not feel comfortable with. He stated that I would be part of his "family" of patients for the rest of my life. He is very thorough in every area of surgery, from risks to aftercare. If it was within 1 and 5 stars...he would definately get 6! Both surgical competence and bedside manner are very important with a sensitive issue like obesity, it effects every aspect of your life.
