I like Dr. Warnock, even though I have only met him once. He was warm and genuine. He spoke not only to me, but to my husband.
I wanted to wait until I was officially post-op before I commented on doctor Warnock. He is amazing! That was my first impression and it only gets better with time. He is very compassionate and caring and has such a wonderful bedside manner. His staff is just as wonderful as him. Especially Kim his coordinator. She is an awesome woman. I think what I may have liked least about doctor Warnock is that I felt a bit rushed at my consult. I really believe that future patients should know about his EXCELLENT (AND I CAN'T STRESS THAT ENOUGH) bedside manner. He held my arm when I discussed my concerns. And before I went into the OR he came in and rubbed my head and told me that he was going to take good care of me. Overall.. there is no rating that could adequately express the quality or care and knowledge... and comfort that he has to offer people. 10+ without a doubt.
good friendly better good staff caring gets to the matter with alot of imformation he is overall one of the best doctors ive ever seen he shows how much he really cares and lets you know everything that will or could happen.he tells you how important aftercare is.has a structured aftercare program both manners and competence matter and he has both
Dr. Warnock is very religious, so if that offends you stay away. Very soft spoken and kind. My greatest impressions of him occurred while I was on the table in the OR and all of a sudden he came in and took the mask from my hand and said "I'll hold that!" He held my hand and the mask until I went into lala land. I thought that was great. Usually Dr.s are too busy to be bothered until the patient is ready. I was also impressed that he personally took the staples out and not a technician. That is the first time that has ever happened! My only complaint is the normal 1-2 hour wait at his office. So, don't be upset if you feel like you are going to be late for your appt. Chances are you won't be!
At my pre-op appointment Dr Warnock was very kind. He reviewed the procedure with my spouse and I and required that my spouse stop smoking (or not smoke in front of me) and explained why. Required me to lose weight and return only after I had met that goal weight.
At first I was frustrated with this mandate; but finally reached that goal and was given a surgery date. I have come to realize that he cares deeply for his patients health and that they have a successful surgery. Since my surgery he has made changes in his staff and and all for the better. They are friendly, helpful and postive. He has a designated bariatic wing at the hospital with specially trained staff that treat the patients special. Dr Warnock gives each patient individual care and so some demands from him will vary from patient to patient. He feels quite strongly about after care. He desires each to follow his plan and that includes attending support group meetings. As to the risks of sugery, he explains that in detail and that is why he often asks patients to stop smoking, lose weight, etc. He is an outstanding surgeon with high a high success rate. Most of all he realizes he has a special God given talent. His competence and bedside manner have been very reasurring to me.
Dr. Warnock made me feel at ease and did not talk over my head. He got right to the point,that I had to be in this for the long haul and that the surgery was just a tool to help me succeed in my weight loss. He seemed to go out of his way to explain his procedure and that he has done so well because he has "Higher Help" and that made me feel good to know that he prays and he asks us to pray that we are making the right decision for the right reason. Over all I have to say that Dr. W. is a blessing to all you have been sent his way.I have nothing negative to say. Even the four hour drive was worth it!
I know that God sent me to Dr.Warnock. He is a wonderful God loving man. He is soft spoken and he made me feel welcomed and I could feel that he really cared. The more i spoke to Dr.Warnock the better i felt. I trusted him the first day I met him. His staff are blessings, they made me feel so good when I was there in his office and they went out of there way to help me and to get things going. I could not say any thing bad about DR.Warnock and his staff. They have gone out of there way to help me and they along with God are giving me a new life to embrace. He cares, he really cares about you and your needs. He understands what we all go threw, and he is there to help. He treats you with care and understanding. Dr.Warnock puts in his 150% to make sure his pationt is doing well. He takes the time see you after you have moved from the hospital to the Hospitality Hourse. He has encouraged us to talk to other pationts of his and or to attend a support class near your home, and or chat on line with others who have had or are going to have the surgery. Dr.Warnock did tell me about the risks of the surgery. He was soft spoken and yet direct. He helped me understand that in any type of surgery there are risks. With meeting him, and speaking with him, and not to mention I did my own research on him. I would rate him the best, the best in person, on paper, and in research. Most important, I have spoke to others who have had the surgery done by Dr.Warnock and they tell me he was wonderful in any way possible. Surgical competence and bedside manner are very important. I like that fact that the Doctors are not just your physicians but that they are also your friends, and that they show they care about you and your needs, and how to make you feel better to the best of there ability.
DR.Warnock and his staff are the most helpful and genuine people i have ever known.They all did everything they could to take care of me before and after my surgery.It Is like you join a family when you see DR.Warnock and staff.I most recently was approved for the tummy tuck and all i had to do was wait for a call from the office,they took care of everything.I would recommend DR.Warnock to everyone,you will get not only the best medical care but a whole new family.The only thing i could say is the least enjoyable is the wait at the office,that can sometimes be a while.
