I have been researching Dr. Warnock for a year, so I went into my appointment knowing what to expect. However, I did not expect him to be so soft spoken and kind. He looked me in the eye when I asked questions and he gave thorough answers. My appointment was at 4pm and we waited until almost 6pm to see Dr. Warnock. Bless his heart, he took his time with me and my mother, answered our questions and reassured me that this was the tool I needed to change my life. I have never felt so comfortable with a doctor I had just met. The staff was very busy but also nice. The complete package at Bariatrics of Texas is top-notch, from the structured aftercare program, support group for patients and overall emphasis put on each individual patient. I'm so lucky to have found Dr. Warnock.
FOUND DR. WARNOCK TO BE VERY INFORMATIVE, A VERY NICE PERSON. EXPLAINED SURGERY AND RISK VERY WELL. WAS VERY GLAD TO FIND HIM A STRONG CHRISTIAN. HE EMPHASIZES HIS AFTER CARE PROGRAMS. I WOULD RATE HIM OVERALL, EXCELLANT. FOUND OFFICE STAFF TO BE LACKING IN RETURNING CALLS, ABLE TO GET IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WHEN NEEDED, WERE VERY KIND FOLKS,BUT DID NOT SEEM TO KNOW WHAT THE OTHER WAS DOING OR HAD DONE.
My first impression of Dr Warnock is a very compassanant with me and my wife. He wanted to know why i wanted this and went on telling how serious this operation was. He wasvery concerned of my needs. i asked the Dr. to pray with us on this and stop smoking. He prayed without hesitation. that means alot to my wife and I is our faith in God . i feel Dr. warnock is also strong in his faith. The staff was very considerate to us and prompt. i guess it would be when he told me he wanted me to loss 28 lb in 6 weeks. i have tried so many thins before ,but water arobics i never trird, so i have a positive outlook that i can reach my goal.He is very honest to you and tells you like it is , which i think is very important .He emphasized how very impotant aftercare and tohave a structuredaftercare program, because he said this is going to be a lifetime change from now on to stay healhty and have support groups out there for you.he went in depth about the risksof surgery,He has a great bed side manner and surgically competent........
I was very impress he understood my pain and tireness of being obesed.I never change how iI felt about him each visit is always encouraging. His office staff is wondeful. it is even one of them that had the surgery. He is a very religious man, I was very impressed when he kissed my forehead befoe surgery. It was a pain fee after care I was able to push a button for pain med,at any time. will higly recommend Dr.Warnock to anyone seeking this surgery.
My first impression of Dr. Warnock was one of a very kind and sincere Dr. who cared about you as a person and looked at you as a whole sum of health not just a paycheck. My thoughts of him never changed for the negative , over time my firt impression was just made stronger and proved to be correct. That he is in this to see you become a healty person. His staff is very tireless in taking phone calls day after day and batteling with insurance companies. They are relentless is getting you what Dr. Warnock and you are wanting to achieve. His future patients should know that he will not sugar coat the fact that this is a life changing procedure and should not be taken lightly. Support group meetings are mandatory before surgery and maintaing a good relationship with the Dr. and staff will only help you in your search for a healthy life after surgery. Remember one thing, surgery is ONLY A TOOL. It is NOT a magic cure. You will have to adhere to the rools or you will wind up FAT again. Why be shy about it. If you dont want to hear it you are denying what is truth. Stay in the support groups, Dr Warnock and his staff have a HUGE support group that gives back to the community in several ways. Since he has given so many patients a new life. His patients in turn give back to the community in several ways, i.e. food drives over the holidays, waling to raise money for research and stockings filled with toys at Christmas time for the less fortunte in the community! I would rate Dr. Warnock, his staff and all involved in this process to be top notch and first rate. From the secretary to the LPN that takes care of oyu in the hospital, everyone involved is there to support you and your journey. If you live any where remotley close to Dr. Warnock you would be sadly misslead not to pursue him to do your surgery!
