I have not made an appointment yet, because they only hold group meetings, and I want a one on one consultation.

Dr Bour is very polite and professional. He does not talk over your head. Dr Bour stated that he believes the best way for his patients to have success is education about the expectations of pre & post surgery which is provided by him and his staff. He emphasized that he and/or his staff will always be available for any question that may arise. Dr Bour provides on site psycologist, two nutrionist, very polite support staff. He insists and provides pre and post nutrition support classes every other week!

My doctor was actually Dr. James Cook. He is an outstanding person, and he was genuinely concerned with my health. I have also met Dr. Bour, and he actually performed surgery (not bariatric) on my husband. Both Dr. Cook and Dr. Bour are very professional and I respect them alot. The staff is also great. They make you feel at ease in a very uncomfortable situation (discussing weight problems). I have also enjoyed Dr. Russell. I would highly recommend this group as they are concerned with you not only prior to surgery, but for the rest of your life.

My first impression of Dr. Bour was great. He is very compasionate and realistic. He makes sure that you know all of the possible complications along with the advantages of the surgery. I work in the medical field and have talked with many other health care proffesionals about him. He has a reputation as a geat surgeon. Had it not been for having him as a surgeon, I'm not sure that I would of had the surgery done.

Dr. Boar is very professional and takes the time to talk and explain everything. His office staff is very professional and did what ever they could to help me get approved. Now I am just waiting to get my approval letter from Blue Cross Blue Shield. The part I liked least is that I had to have money up font to enroll with him. But That is part of his emphasize on aftercare. You have access to the dietitian and the physiologist for LIFE! Also I he let me know that he wants me to call him at any time if I have questions about anything. There are very structured in their aftercare program with the supports groups and also the dietician. So far I would rate him very highly.

Dr. Bour has been wonderful. He did a great job on my surgery. I had complete trust in him from the beginning. It was the way that he ran his office. You know the attitude of the staff comes directly from the surgeon, and they are all compassionate, responsive people.

I was also told from the beginning that he had a very structured after care program that was important to my recovery and future health. We have the opportunity to meet with a psychologist, nutritionists, and the surgeon for the rest of our lives. There are weekly meetings where we meet with the staff and can talk to other patients. Going to the weekly meetings makes it so much easier to stay on track.

Dr. Bour has put together a first rate practice that cares about their patients as individuals. How wonderful to be treated so kindly when I was merely a fat person to everyone else!

I had my surgery 2 years ago and I have been very pleased with Dr. Bour and his staff. I just saw them the other day and it was a great visit. They are very supportive and answer all your questions and really care about their patients. I would rate Dr. Bour and Katie A++++++

Dr Bour has in no doubt saved the wellness of my future. He is a very caring man, awesomely skilled at what he does. I tell everyone I had the best surgeon the the southeast! He is mostly straight to business, he is concerned about your health before, during and after the surgery. Followup care is amazing at his office. He runs a tight ship with every detail covered from the risks to exactly what to expect while you recover and from what I hear he is pretty strick on you in years to come but hey isn't that what he is is there for!!!!HE takes care of your mental, physical and nutritional needs for the rest of your life. He will always hold my highest respect.

Dr. Bour and his staff have been a wonderful help in this whole process. He is a gifted surgeon and a kind-hearted, caring person. He truly wants to help obese people live a normal life.

Dr. Bour was a great guy who was very nice, professional, knowledgable, and concerned.

Future patients should know that Dr. Bour has the best interest of his patients at mind and his goal is to provide you with the best care possible.
Dr. Bour has a fUll program that emphasizes both the before and after care and he is strict on the directions for you to follow after release to the hospital.

Dr. Bour is upfront about all the risks that come along with Bariatric surgery and he addresses all questions. I would give him a 20 on a scale of 1-10. Dr. Bour is great in both his surgical knowledge and bedside manner. I love Dr. Bour and highly reccommend him.
