The first word I would use is anal, and thank God. I would not have wanted anyone else to lead me into this new life. He and his office team have been extremely informative and caring. There were no surprises, all the information was shared up front and I have been able to identify each phase with open eyes. I would encourage anyone that is looking for a new life to start with Dr. Bour.rn

Dr. Bour has been great so far! he is very meticulous and seems to care about his patient's welfare.

My first impession was he sure is short, but very good at describing what we would have to go through. He let us know up front that this surgery was not a cure but a life style change. He has the most wonderful and helpful staff, they are great.We have meetings every tuesday, one tuesday we will have a cooking class and the next tuesday we go to publix and go through different parts of the grocery store. Dr. Bour is great every thing about him is great, he has a good bedside manner. I would recomend him to everyone. I really don't have anything negative to say I'm sure he has some faults but he has been nothing but nice to me.

Mom always said \"If you cant say anything nice.......\"

I really like Dr. Bour. He shoots straight, and doesn't mess around. He seems very confindent in the job he performs and I like that in a doctor. I don't want someone who is scared to take on a 500 lb man, I want someone ready for the job!

I really like Dr. Bour! Some people try to bash him for being abrasive, or not being very \"friendly\" but I have had nothing but the opposite! He is the only surgeon I would of trusted with my body, and he is the only one I trust to perform my dad's surgery as well. His program is wonderful. He covers all bases in house, psychologist, nutritionist, support groups. He is very proactive in educating before AND After surgery. I think it is very important to have a surgeon who takes as much care of you after the surgery as he did during! Plus he's kinda Hot in this weird doctor way HA!!!! (Had to throw that in there, for the upstate gals, figured theyd like that LOL)

Dr. Bour is absolutely the best surgeon I could ask for to perform this surgery. He is so knowledgable and helpful! I was drawn to his program because of the structure - he really cares about each and everyone of his patients, and is serious about the aftercare! The information session was wonderful.....I learned so much that night! His office staff is also very helpful and always there to answer any questions I have.

I was quite satisfied when I met with Dr. Bour. He makes you feel very comfortable when meeting with him. He answered all my questions. He does not rush you through the visit. He takes plenty of time with his patients. I think he really wants his patients to be knowledgeable of the procedure as well as accountable. I think he has a comprehensive program. There is a lot of emphasis on aftercare and support groups. I feel like his program is very structured. Everyone that I have encountered in his practice has been professional, caring, and friendly. You get the sense that they enjoy theeir jobs and are very knowledgeable. I would rate Dr. Bour and his practice very high.

Dr. Bour is just the type surgeon I'm looking for. He is very knowledgeable and runs his office very efficiently. He is calm and kind. Everything is so complete. You can't possible go through this surgery without knowing everything you need to know. Everything is soooo thorough, from nutrition to counseling before and after surgery. Fantastic surgeon and office. I'm very happy I live here and have this opportunity.
