Dr. Jean-Baptiste is the best! He is a find doctor and he has saved my life. I fully recommend him for bariatric surgery. He has given me a gift, the gift of health. There is NOTHING I could say negative about my Dr. Dr Baptiste has a new office staff...a new nurse and a new nutritionist. I have not havd the pleasure of meeting the nutritionist as of yet but she must be better than Judy the old nutritionist. She was never heavy a day in her life and spoke to us weightloss patients as though it is as easy as the flick of a switch to just stop eating. If it were that easy We would have no need for Dr Baptiste.

The new nurse (sorry i cannot think of her name off the top of my head) is extremely cxoncerned for us as patients and our success. She actually takes us into a examining room (unlike Kathy previous nurse, who ONLY conversed in her office)I truly believe this new nurse is truly concerned about each and every patient.She literally takes the time and answers all questions she possibly can and NEVER makes you feel rushed!

Dr JB is a skilled professional with a personality that surpasses any other Dr I have ever HAD THEPLEASURE OF MEETING.HIS BEDSIDE MANNER IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL.

I would recommend Dr JB and his staff in a heart beat!

Dr J.B,rnrnMy first impression of him was he is calm and confident, and I still feel he is this way after 6 months. His staff is friendly and helpful. Aftercare is important in his office. A nutritionalist is available for questions and excercise is always emphasized. The risks were addressed and the benefits were discussed before surgery. This doctor is an excellent surgeon.

Well I met him back in Sept 2008, he was ok I was not even suppose to meet him, he was suppose to be in surgery, so I really was not expecting to see him. But I hear wonders on him from other patients and dr offices. So I am in good hands.rnrnafter surgery::rnrnI could not have ask for a better dr. he is kind and very caring about what he do. 100 thumbs up.

My impression of my surgeon was a great comfortable one. He was very assuring of how the procedure would result in a great outcome. I was happy to have found him for my surgery. rnrnHis bedside manners were very professional. Dr. JB is wonderful! His staff and he make you feel comfortable and special. I highly recommend him for his after-care...just the best.

When I first met Dr JB he seemed to be reallynice as well as his office staff. They make you feel comfortable, they take the time to answer any questions and they basically keep it real. Theyhave a great structure after care program and itswell worth the time, effort,and money. He addressed all the risks of the surgery and didn't get testy when i would ask him questions over and over to see if his response would change. I would recommend DR JB to anyone who is interested in WLS.rnHe has excellent bedside manner unlike some doctor who dont even give you eye contact or shake your hand. Dr. Jean Baptisite, was thoughtful in answering my questions and made me feel comfortable. He was willing to work with me to reach my goal. And I truely appreciate him and his OR team as well as the team in his office.rnrnMy anesthesiologist, Dr. Mathew thompson was amaizizngly funny, he tried to get me to sing on my way to the OR.rnrnI meet with Dr. Jean Baptiste on Friday for my first post op appointment.

I was very nervious. when I first got there. I saw the Doctor and he talked to me about the two sergery's. I did not want the bypass. After everything was done, I am now leaning to the bypass. He put me at ease. He answered all my questions.

At our first consultation he seemed kind and genuine.rnAfter the surgery i realized how blessed i was to have him as my Dr. He seems to make a connection with his patients which is why in my opinion he is so successful.rnEveryone there was great with the exception of his nutritionist who seemed fake and not genuine at all. She compared my struggle to her once upon a time attempt to loose 25lbs. I almost didn't have the surgery because i didn't want to have to do any follow up visits with her. rnDr. Baptiste is AWESOME, he is somewhat of a perfectionist and is very good at what he does.rnYes i have been given all the info i need to be successful, and have my first post op appointment with him this Friday.rnHe explained all the risks but also gave me all the tools and resources to be successful afterwards.rnOn a scale of 1 to 10 i would give him an 11.rnI think both make up the entire package. It is important to trust your surgeon an i don't feel that can be achieved if they don't have a good bedside manner.
