Dr. Fallang was a kind and compasinate man.
This staff is very knowledgeable of the surgery
and is very willing to answer all questions.
Several of my friends and patients have had this surgery
and have had no complications with the surgery.
I have know Dr. Fallang several years and he and
his staff continue to try and hep me to obtain
the surgery. The doctor emphasizes all aspects of
care - before an after....follow his instructions
and you will do well. He has a very detailed
outline of risks of the surgery. I would give Dr.
Fallang a 9 opn a scale of 1-10 !
I have nothing but praise for Dr Fallang and his staff. They have all been great to me and my family through out this process. My one regret is not living closer so that I can get back to his office on a more regular basis.
Dr Fallang is very knowledgable and never talks down to you. He makes everything clear and makes sure you understand before he continues. If you check out his website, don't go by the picture of him there! He is soooo much more handsome in person! Hey, I know what he looks like doesn't make a differnece when his hands are in your guts, but it does make things more pleasant before and after! LOL

My first impression of Dr Fallang was a very good one. I found him to be caring and very confident about his procedures. He took loads of time with us after the seminar to answer any and all questions. His office staff have been truly wonderful! They have been so helpful and have followed up on all my insurance needs and really made the way smooth for me. I will see Dr Fallang again in October and I will update things then.

I am 5 weeks post-op. Dr Fallang was wonderful. He came to my room each day and answered any and all questions that I had. I never felt that he was in a hurry to be anywhere else.
I wish the was more aftercare support, this was my first surgery ever and I felt kind of like a pest calling his office so often with all my concerns. I eventually did not call because I felt like I was bothering his staff. Yesterday his head nurse called me and asked if everything was OK and I felt so much better that they were concerned enough to make sure I was alright.
I attended his seminar and thought his explaination of different procedures to be very through. He has done over 400 RNY surgeries with much success. He and the staff I met was friendly, and were excellent about helping with insurance questions. Everyone received very helpful answers to the many questions that were asked during and after the seminar.
He addressed both the positive and negitive aspects of the different types of surgeries, and showed pictures of how each surgery is preformed.
I have 100% decided he will be my doctor of choice for this surgery because I felt he was honest and very qualified.
Surgery is over, Dr. Falling took a long time to talk with me when I was leaving and definately stresses aftercare. I am still impressed with him. He is in my opinion an excellent surgeon. I am not too uncomfortable and am doing very well.

This being my first op ever,DR.Fallang was not only very proffesional ,but also a very careing person. His bed side manner was second to none.
his knowlege of obesity and its health risks, made the understanding of a layman very at ease , combined with his explanition of the different op's
was very informational . this made the dission for a open RNY very easy.
Dr. Fallang's staff not only was very inforned , but made the transision from pre to post op a very easy transion. They are a very good suport group. and know their jobs well.
The first time I met Dr. Fallang was at a group information session at Middletown Hospital in Ohio. My first impression was, hey he is a real person and he dosen't think he is God! I am a computer geek and we chatted some about his web site, etc at which point he won my heart forever. LOL Of course, I am not one to let first impressions guide my decisions and checked him out througly before ever going to the information session, the fact that he is human is just an added bonus.
Dr. Fallang's office staff is wonderful. They are very knowledgable and more than willing to help. I like that I can e-mail them instead of having to call because I am a day sleeper and I hate waking up early just to call a doctor's office.
Dr. Fallang honestly reviewed the risk of surgery including his mortality statistics, etc. He even gave an overview of other surgeries that were available and spoke in a postive manner of a physician in the neighboring city that does a more radical procedure. (it is nice to know that he is confident enough in his ability to speak positively of competition).
I am looking forward to a positive patient-doctor relationship with Dr. Fallang.
Dr. Fallang is cocky but it is a good cocky. It is the kind of cocky that makes you feel confident in yourself and his ability as a surgeon. Very very open and honest. Doesn't pull punches and is your biggest cheerleader!!
