My first impression of Dr Kaul was excellent! He was so nice and personable. The office staff is wonderful!! Very friendly, although you do have to be patient they are very busy! But they WILL return your call! :)

I liked him so much. As soon as he comes into the room he shakes your hand & holds onto it and makes you feel instantly comfortable. He was very warm & had a sense of humor. I have only had my initial visit and I will have a date any day now for my preop.
I think the office staff is pleasant and the nurses & doctors assistants are very nice.
There was nothing I didn't like about Dr Kaul or anyone in the office. My only problem was how long of a wait there was. My first visit I waited 1 and a 1/2 hours.
Thank god I'm a very patient person,so if that is considered a negative than I think that is pretty good for such a busy office.
Plus Dr Kaul & his staff are so wonderful that it didn't matter to me because I know I'm getting great care.

I felt very comfortable with the entire group. I knew I was in excellent hands.

My impression of Dr. Kaul & the group remained the same from my first impression.

The office staff has been EXTREMELY helpful from day one. Continually of assistance even after surgery. Even with the simplest questions.

I can not say that there was anything that I did not like.

If anyone is considering to have this surgery, Dr. Kaul & his group are masters at their task and you will feel very comfortable, safe & secure with them.

Aftercare is a very important part of gastric bypass surgery, if not the most important part of this surgery.

I would rate this Doctor & his group, as a "9" as to not give them a swelled head, but they are that close to perfect in my book.

Surgical Competence and bedside manner I found were both great. I really have not had any complaints. I am quite the satisfied customer!!!!

Dr.Kaul was pleasant and I felt completely comfortable with him. Unfortunately, I had a little trouble understanding his thick accent. I had to contunally ask him to repeat himself. He didn't mind repeating everything and even asking me if I had understood him.

I can't say enough about this group of Doctor's. So far, each and every visit has been pleasant, informative, and very fulling. Each staff member goes above and beyond what they are expected to do. They are all ready and willing to make each and evry step of the way easier. I will update with my date of surgery as soon as I get it. The office staff in Dr. Kaul's office has been most helpful with all appointments, questions and concerns. They help out every step of the way. So far, each member of the surgical team, ie; nutrition, cardiology, and pulmonolgy have been very supportive and willing to ensure that the paperwork gets back in a timely manner. Dr. Kaul is a very pleasant man, caring individual and experienced Doctor, he answered every single question I had and even asked me a few to make sure that I understand the entire procedure. I would recommend his office to anyone.

My surgeon works in a practice with three other general surgeons; I had the chance to meet them all during my various consultations at the office. Drs. Yatco, Cerebona, and Kaul were all very sensitive and understanding while still (reassuringly) displaying a surgeon's characteristic confidence. All three have distinguished resumes and a extensive bariatric surgery experience. Dr. Cerebona is the director of obesity surgery for Westchester Medical Center and Dr. Kaul heads up the robotic surgery program at NY Medical College. I did not meet Dr. Kaul, my surgeon, until after my surgery when he came to see me in recovery. He was very kind and laid back, taking the time to explain everything that went on. I know he spoke at length with my family and even went up to them in the cafeteria to kindly chat with them later in the day. I have full confidence in any of the surgeons in this practice and give them my enthusiastic endorsement.

One caveat: one must be very patient during the months and weeks prior to surgery. The office staff is overwhelmed and callbacks and mailings can at times be unreliable early in the process. This can be discouraging and anxiety producing for the uninitiated. With patience, an understanding of how swamped they are, and a realistic idea of the timeframe involved this can be avoided; it is worth it to wait! Once you are cleared for surgery things move very quickly. This is only my impression of my experience and may not reflect the experiences of others - perhaps my case was an abberation.

Overall, my experience was overwhelmingly positive and I highly reccomend any surgeon in this practice. They don't get much better than Drs. Yatco, Cerebona, and Kaul.

I had met Dr. Kaul when I was rushed to the emergency room for my gall bladder. He was the nicest doctor I have met. Very caring. In the process of getting gastric bypass, I was very upset at the office because it took me over a year to get my surgery. My pre-ops almost expired. But Dr. Kaul, his colleagues, and staff were all great! I would definetely recommend his office!

Dr.Kauhl did laproscopic surgery on me, my surgery took 7 hours because of complications with scar tissue from previous surgeries. He was encouraged by other Dr.'s assisting to do a full open surgery, but he peristed. As a result, I healed faster and had minimal pain.
His office staff is very professional and caring.

There is not a thing I do not like about him or his staff. They have been encouraging and supportive.

The risks of surgery were clearly defined beforehan

Overall rating, A plus.

Dr. Kaul is a wonderful surgeon with a great bedside manor. I can't say enough about him. He does emphasize aftercare such as seeing a dietician and making sure you excercise. I have nothing negative to say about him and I would do it again.

I LIKE HIM!! Now, I do think the office needs to communicate a wee bit more amongst themselves...but other than that, he's a great guy with a great personality. He CARES!!!
