my experience was good and my stay at centra state hospital was also good I was well taken care of my stay was 4 days its only been one week and lost22 lbs im looking great getting beater every day my dr is suen and he all so in centra state hospital thank you for a new life,

I could not be happier with the treatment pre and post surgery with Dr. Seun. Expert advice has made me a new person. I am down over 150 pounds since first walking into his office and still going. New outlook, new me!!!

Dr. Seun is the best. I am very happy after 6 months. I'm off insulin and my blood pressure meds!

I had my surgery 9 days ago (6/4). So far, so good. Surgery went OK. Pain was as expected. I weighed 291.2 on the day of surgery and have lost about 10-15 pounds so far (scale is a little off). This is my first week post-op so it is hard to evaluate aftercare. Things went pretty much as expected before the surgery. I knew of the risks. A lot of the information he told me is available online, including his site. Most of the information on the internet is pretty good. I was able to walk around the hospital right after surgery and have kept that up as that is pretty much the only exercise I am allowed to do.

The first 48-72 hours were the hardest as my stomach didn't want to hear from me and I fought myself to get enough protein in. Once all the drugs wore off and my throat healed (6/7) I was able to more or less get back to normal. No real hunger pains, though I find a glass of water in between meals helps.

I've noticed that some of my tight t-shirts fit me better already. I was also able to restart work after 5 days (including the weekend) but I have a desk job and can work from home.

The biggest challenge so far is missing food as my comfort/security blanket. The "cleanse," for a lack of a better phrase, of the first week's diet really does force you to change your eating habits.

At this point I am sick of gelatin and chicken broth. The taste of chocolate soy milk after the first week was like sweet manna from heaven. Strained cream of tomato soup never tasted so good.

I had my surgery on 6/2/14 and what great people made everything that much easier

The entire staff was great and supportive.
The seminars were very informative. The Dr. explained everything so it could be understood. Surgical competence and bed side manner were exceptional. My impression changed as I had more and more confidence in the doctor.

I'm very happy with the surgery. I can move breath and do things I have not done in a long time. Surgery was not that difficult, I had a shaky stomach the first week but after that it got easier. I give all my thanks for the caring staff and of course Dr.Sean for giving me the confidence I need to complete my journey. A great team. Many many thanks to all of you. I would recommend this office anytime.

Dr. Sowemimo did my surgery on 5/21/14. Today I've lost several pounds and feel great! Dr. Seun is a great doctor and I'm very happy I chose him as my surgeon.

I am 19 years old and had the gastric sleeve 9 days ago. The recovery was very easy, I was in the hospital for one night and after just two days I was off my pain medicine. I have lost 22 pounds in a little over a week and feel great. I am confident that with Dr. Seun's help I will reach my weight loss goal and be able to keep it off for the first time in my life.

10 days after my gastric sleeve & I am so excited! Lost several pounds, have much more energy & my knees and feet aren't in constant pain! Thank you Dr. Sowemimo for being a great dr!
