I recently had surgery May 22 ,2013 with Dr. Seau S and couldn't be happier . I now do a lot of walking, execising at the gym I recommend him for surgery .

I am one week post-op and feeling great. Dr. Sowemimo and staff are very kind and helpful. They have gone above and beyond to help me with my weight loss journey from the very beginning.

I first consulted Dr Adeyeri after finding out that I needed a revision of my gastric bypass. The original surgery was performed in 2005, by a different surgeon, and since then, I have developed a marginal ulcer, which led to a severe anastomotic stricture. I had become unable to hold down any food, and almost no fluids. This led to repeated hospitalizations for dehydration.
I began looking for a surgeon who specializes in revisions, and found Dr Adeyeri's OH profile. I found nothing but positive reviews, and was very impressed by what I read.
I made a appointment for a consult, which was handled very quickly, by his wonderful office staff, after I explained my situation.
Upon meeting Dr Adeyeri, I was very impressed with his professionalism and his bedside manner. He was obviously very knowledgable when it comes to the intricacies of such a complex surgery. He explained everything to me in detail, and made sure to answer all of my questions. I decided then and there, to have him perform my surgery.
I scheduled it for June, but after another hospitalization, it became clear that it needed to be done right away. Mara and Melissa worked very quickly to get it approved through my insurance, for May 1.
I had my revision on May 1, and Dr Adeyeri had his work cut out for him. The surgery took 4 hours, due to lots of scar tissue adhesions, and a hiatal hernia that needed to be repaired, along with the original issues we knew about going in.
My recovery has been extremely smooth, with very little pain, and I'm looking forward to being back to normal soon.
Dr Adeyeri and his staff are fantastic, and I highly recommend him for any bariatric or general surgery.

What a difference 6 months makes!!!
I have lost a total of 85 lbs since my gastric sleeve surgery on 10/21/2013. I wouldn't have been able to do it without the Lord, my FRAMILY, and Dr. Seun Sowemimo!!!
He is caring and compassionate but straight forward when it comes to my care. His staff is readily available and always willing to go above and beyond to help me...
Dr. Seun makes you accountable for your health and life but also doesn't beat you up if you mess up...what a doctor!

Had my sleeve done last week, was no big deal .
Some pain first few days then better every day after . Dr seuen was terrific as his staff . Lost 20 lbs first week and feel so good . want to keep losing weight in the future , al in al glad I made this choice and glad I chose Dr seuen Sowemimo . Thanks sal scali

My whole wls experience was a breeze thanks to Dr. Seun and his wonderful staff. I was always made to feel like I was their most important patient. His professionalism and knowledge in this field were also one of the factors that were important to me. If you are considering wls, Dr. Suen is the man! :-) Oh how could I forget to mention that I am 100 lbs lighter since my rny on 4/23/2103...

I'm glad that I got the surgery. I feel a big difference. I would recommend DR. Seun Sowernimo to anyone who is thinking about getting the bypass surgery.

I had surgery done 3 years ago and couldn't be happier ive lost about 150 pounds and life couldn't be better (unless I hit pick six) my daughter has also had surgery and she is also down 150 pounds (and has had a baby after and still kept weight off after my grandsons birth) its like a new life but enough of me Dr Seun is by far and away an unbelievable doctor his concern and attitude has guided me on this "journey" and I can never thank him enough his concern, participation as well as his involvement in my weight loss in unbelievable I would just like to thank him by writing this testimonial I have not just lost weight but I have gained a friend THANK YOU DR SOWOMIMO!!!!!!

10 days after surgery I felt as good as I did before surgery. I never had to take pain meds and the incisions were never an issue. I had much more pain with the gall bladder surgery. Very pleased with Dr Seun and the results.
