I've never been so excited to come to a Dr.'s office to be weighed! I'm only one week post-op, but I feel better than I have in years. Dr. Seun is amazing! Eight days after surgery, I'm feeling great and ready to start my new life. Thank you Dr. Seun for all that you do!
I am a week post-op and I feel great I've lost 20 pounds already. Dr. Sowemimo is an amazing surgeon. The pain was not as bad as I thought it was going to be, I was walking by the second day. I recommend this surgery to anyone having trouble losing weight.
I had my surgery 6/25/14 @ age 58+ & only wish I'd considered it years earlier. My experience from the introductory seminar thru today 7/8/14 for my first follow up visit have been nothing but the best. The staff & Dr Seun have made me feel relaxed, very secure in my decision to opt for a major surgery & to understand that it wasn't anything I was doing wrong that brought me to this place of needing this surgery. I felt like a "failure" & I no longer have those thoughts or feelings. I felt absolutely NO pain from the moment of surgery & other than catching up on my much needed sleep in the hospital from working two jobs for 8 yrs, I have energy I never knew existed. I am beginning a new life for myself now as a healthy, energetic, happy person ready to share my great experience with anyone who will listen. I would highly recommend Dr Seun as he was recommended to me by an ex-co-worker who's surgery he performed many years previous. Thank you Dr Seun & all your staff for giving me the opportunity to take my life back! I promise I will do you all proud.

Dr. Seun is awesome. He has a wonderful bedside manner and I put all my trust in him. He has changed my life when he did my gastric sleeve surgery on May 8th 2013. I am down 80 pounds and I am a size 4 Abercrombie & Fitch jean. I look and feel fantastic. I would highly recommend Dr. Seun to anyone looking to have bariatric surgery. God bless him.
I was sleeved on 6/25/14 by Dr. Seun. Im so happy I made this decision. Dr. Seun and his staff are wonderful. If anyone is thinking of surgery I would highly recommend them. I feel great already!
The surgery was fast and easy. Recovery was short, out of the hospital in 2 days. Surgeons are great and feeling much better. Very much worth it to have this surgery done.
From the first time I met doctor Sowemimo I knew he was the doctor for me. He was upfront and did a great job explaining what was going to happen. Although I am a patient, he did a great job at making me feel like a friend, which was comforting during this process. He and his staff have been great through this life changing experience and I highly recommend doctor Sowemimo for anyone who wants a quality doctor who truly cares. Thanks!!!
When I set out on this new chapter in my life, I knew I was coming directly to Central Jersey Bariatrics. Dr. Seun Sowemimo is the most dedicated physician I have ever encountered and unfortunately I have been through some surgeons in my life. He was thorough & precise with even the simplest things. Dr Sowemimo saved my life and I could be on here for days listing his professionalism from his knowledge to his supreme surgical skills.
My husband as well, has had Biatriatric bypass through Central Jersey Bariatrics and we could not have been happier.

seven months after surgery, I lost 73 lbs and feel great!
Dr. Seun came highly recommended to me by a dear friend and co-worker, he, his wife and several family members had surgery performed by Dr. Seun. this made it so much easier to make the final decision to go through with the surgery, gastric sleeve. also, when going through all the pre-op screenings, cardiologist, - these dr's also know Dr. Seun and also highly recommended him. I was totally impressed with the thoroughness. IE monthly support groups, required nutritionist appointments, seminars, etc. Dr. Seun is a very sincere and very likable man. he attends all the support group meetings and is very approachable at all times. the surgery went very well. minimally invasive, going on my 3rd week post-op, lost 13 lbs, my blood pressure has returned to normal, after being on meds for 10 years. no longer need to take meds - although, I monitor my bp on a daily basis. can't wait to see how much my cholesterol level comes down over the months. I am no longer preoccupied and distracted with eating just for the sake of eating any more. I feel so much better now that I don't retain fluid in my legs and knees, arthritis pain has been relieved significantly. Dr. Seun's medicai/office staff are very professional, highly skilled and compassionate people. thank you, Dr. Seun and staff :-)
