Dr. Andrei is very efficient, detailed thorough physician who is extremely skilled and knowledgeable. His office staff are very helpful and always willing to answer any questions you might have regarding your surgery pre and post.

His surgical competence is excellent, but his bedside manner is somewhat reserved and I feel, patient interaction is minimal. However, his office provides great support under his direction.

HI! MY NAME IS CAROLYN AND I AM A RECIPIENT OF GASTRIC SURGERY., MY EXPERIENCE IS THAT SO FAR IT HAS JUST BEEN A GREAT EXPERIENCE TO KNOW THAT I CAN FINALLY HAVE CONTROL OVER MY MATABOLIZUM. FOR ME I FEEL LIKE I AM A LITTLE DIFFERENT THAN OTHERS AND BY SAYING THAT WAS HARMONALLY OUT OF CONTROLL. THIS WAS MY PROBLEM (HARMONS). ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME IS DR. ANDREI. WONDERFUL BEDSIDE MANOR AND WONDERFUL TEAM AS WELL. IF THERE ARE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT IS THINKING OF POSSIBLE GOING TO HAVE THE PROCEDURE I SAY GO FOR IT.

It's been a 1 1/2 yrs since my sleeve and it is as if my life has just begun. I am so much more active and healthy. I can enjoy the little and I mean little things in life. I can sit in a chair at a movie theater and there is room left. My husband loves the fact that now he can wrap his arms all the way around me. I have a 15 yr old daughter who tells me that she loves the idea of being able to go into my closet and taking out whatever I have that she wants to wear. It's an awesome feeling. I actually have a self esteem now. I don't run and hide from mirrors and I love trying on clothes. I can go on and on about how amazing things have been for me since the surgery. I totally recommend it to anyone. If you are contemplating the idea come into the office and talk to Pamela. It has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life. Not a day goes by that I don't thank God for Dr. Andrei and his staff. It is because of the awesome work that they do that I feel the way I do..

Six months post revision and still very happy with Dr Andrei and his practice.

Dr Andrei is an excellent surgeon. I've had 2 surgeries with him so I feel I can offer a solid opinion in this area. I had heard numerous positive references of him from my co-workers and I was actually jealous that he wasn't my bariatric doctor at that time. In March 2008 I had a LapBand inserted (by another dr). Unfortunately, within 3 years, it failed and it was removed. Dr Andrei was the only dr. who would handle my LapBand revision. The first surgery I had was a hiatal hernia repair in July 2011 and I received excellent care in the hospital. It was determined that the LapBand replacement couldn't be done. Dr Andrei recommended a Gastric Sleeve which he performed in Feb 2012. I couldn't be happier! Words cannot begin to describe my gratitude to Dr Andrei. His expertise made my recovery a breeze. And his staff is great. My rule of thumb has always been: if the staff is kind, caring, and compassionate then there's an excellent chance the dr. behind them is too.

I have been a patient of Dr. Andrei's for over 5 years. From the first time that I encountered Dr. Andrei I knew that if I did ultimately decide to have this type of surgery done that he would be the only surgeon that I would allow to operate on me. Dr. Andrei and his ENTIRE staff is extremely attentive, supportive, informative and quite skilled and were that way from the very start. Dr. Andrei is renowned throughout the country with respect to Bariatric Surgery and his work is widely respected. He is honest about options and he truly knows what works best based on the individual. He does take the time to help you to arrive at the best possible surgery option for you based on your input and after assessing your lifestyle. He will never give you anything less than his all and he is adamant about that being reciprocated as well. Dr. Andrei is excellent and is an absolute cut above the rest! Dr. Andrei's staff echoes his passion, professionalism and promise to give each and every patient their very best. I am not a file number and I don't need a name tag when I walk through the door, they took the time to get to know me, and my story and I am truly valued there!

Dr. Andrei and his staff have an excellent rapport with his patients. My first visit was very informative and Dr. Andrei was very sensitive to my needs. He explained every option available for my surgery choices, which helped me make the best decision for me. His bedside manner was great and he and his staff were intouch with me every day after my procedure. I felt that I was a person and not a chart number when he and his staff called. In the days following my surgery, I had my follow-up visits on a weekly basis. These visits were to insure that I was on the right path durring my recovery. The visits included special diet plans and examples on what to eat for each meal. I would highly recommend Dr. Andrei for anyone thinking about gastric surgery. He and his excellent staff were kind and caring in every step of my journey to a healthier life.

On My 1st visit I was very impressed with the caring & warmth of the entire office staff, they were concerned & extremely helpful. The monthly pre nutrition meetings were the best, I was able to meet others who experienced the same problems of weightloss as myself. Pamela was able to explain protion control, how to eat probably, not to chew fast, eat in moderation, and most importantly enjoy what you are eating...during this time Dr Andrei explained the pros & cons of my Lap Band procedure vs others like the gastric sleeve and the gastric bypass. I choose the lap band because it will help me to control my portion size and not to no longer eat bread (a serious weakness :)....the process prior to surgery wasn't bad at all, just the normal pre surgical routines, labs swallow test and all were decent. The day of surgery, the staff at the hospital were great & very professional. So far my aftercare has been great I average 3lbs weight loss a week I started at 326 before surgery & now I'm currently at 312 & I feel GREAT!!! I'm very greatful for Ms Minnie Dr Andrei's RN who recommended Dr Andrei... If I had to start all over again I wouldn't have any doubts of choosing Dr Andrei as my surgeon....

The Gastric sleeve surgery was the best thing i did for myself,and thank god i had meet a new friend Patty Prada at work who also used doctor Andrei, she spoke very highly of him, and the next thing i knew i was at his office.Dr Andrei and his whole entire staff are so wonderful to work with, they are always there for you.The recovery was great I had no pain, little discomfort, that is it, giving birth was 100 percent worse. I would recommend DR.ANDREI and his STAFF to anyone that is considering this surgery!

I Had surgery 10 months ago, it's been a pleasure dealing with Dr. Andrei and his staff. The office goes out of their way to make every step of the process easy. I recomend Dr. Andrei for bariatric surgeries, It has been a great journey.
