Dr Jessie and her staff are wonderful. Everyone is caring and very helpful. I would definitely recommend her for any bariatric surgery.

What I like best about Dr. Jessee is that she looks at you while you are talking and listens.She has the best dietician that has all kind of advice and together they are a huge asset for me. If you want people around you that are upbeat and never disapproving, go to this office....they are really interested in what's best for you. I'm so glad I found them. Wonderful office staff, wonderful physicians, and good experiences. What else could you ask for?

Dr Jessee and her staff are amazing! I actually enjoy going to see her for appointments. She did my surgery last year and everything has been wonderful. Her staff is very helpful when I call and she did an amazing job with my surgery using the spider instrument (I have only a tiny scare around my belly button). I recommend her to anyone, she really cares about her patients and I like that she is a woman doctor.

She is the only female surgeon in the state of Florida that does the Realize Band. The office staff is friendly & some have had WLS.I haven't been there for awhile,(can't travel)would have liked someone to have called to follow up & see how I was doing.

What was your first impression of her? Okay, the moment I meet Dr Jessee I knew she was the woman for the job. She was very positive and made me feel completely at ease.
How would you describe her office staff? The office staff are great helpful always willing to answer questions and want to make sure you understand the instructions given.
What did you like least about her? The only thing I could think that I do not like is that the hospital where I will have my surgery is so far away and traffic is a bummer to get to the hospital.
What should future patients know about her? Dr.Jessee truly enjoys seeing people excited about getting healthy and maintaining their health. She is intuned with each individual and has shared her own stories in regard to her mothers decision to have WLS.. She likes the fact that she can help others achieve their goals. All of her patients give rave reviews!!!
How much does she emphasize aftercare? She is upfront and lets you know that the initial surgery is only the beginning and keeping all appointments and getting proper after care is essential to your health and wellness and your success with WLS
Does she have a structured aftercare program? I love the fact that everything is so structured. Sorry to be bias but I started with another surgeon (male) and even though he is a good dr. She is just on top of everything

Which is better, surgical competence, bedside manner, or are both great? Both are great. I watched her perform fills on two different patients. I have nothing negative to say about her.

I love everything about Dr. Jessee. I went to another dr before her. It was a night and day experience. Dr. Jessee is not only a god send but her staff is amazing. I was denied twice and the office manager Karen was amazing! She fought for me and got me approved! The whole team is amazing. They keep you informed and up to date on your case. No one has ever had a bad day there even when Michelle broke her leg; She was still all smiles even while in pain. God I love her staff and I cant believe I found such a great Dr.

She is straight to business. Doesn't hide much about this surgery. Dr. Jessee showed so much confidence in the procedure, but was definitely not pompous. She made it clear what the benefits and risks were and what my part was in this whole thing. She emphasizes her after care quite a bit and also participates in the support group sessions for her practice.

On the other hand, I had quite a time trying to get everything straight with her office staff. That was really my only complaint. They were in a "transitional" period as they told me numerous times.. frequently I would try to get answers and they didn't know what I was looking for. This only surprised me because I came to them with all pre-certification things ready to go. All they had to do was submit to Aetna, who was waiting for them to fax things for a while.. I called a lot and stayed on them, and sure enough I was approved very quickly. The only reason I mention this is that had I not contacted my insurance on my own and began going through clearance without their help, it would have been A LOT longer to get approval.

My first impression has been very positive. The staff appears to be very responsive and Dr Jessee appears to be very knowledgeable with a great sense of really caring about her patients.

Dr. Jessee has been awesome! When \"shopping\" surgeons when I began thinking about surgery I instantly liked her. Since surgery she has been great. The staff (especially Joyce) have been great too! If I have ever needed to get in because of something they work me in and are always friendy and helpful.
