DrMiller,Is a very gentle and caring person,He tried to share everything he could about the surgery that he performs.He explains everything in such a way that it is simple to understand,He comes to the person level to make sure we understand what we are about to undergo.All the pros and cons of the surgery and nothing is so small that you can ask anything and he is glad to answer it.My husband went with me also and he made him feel apart of what was going on and was ready for all his questions as well.That made him feel more confident with Dr.Miller.All the staff at"Changing Lives"(through Bariatric Surgery} was kind and so helpful and ready to help you in any way they can 24,7 they are there!There wasn't anything at all I didn't like about him or the staff.They have a very good after care which is and will be very important for all the pts. to go through.From your weekly check ups in the beginning right on through as it becomes a new way of living,exercise,and support group meetings once a month in different locations so all can try and be there.He did talk about the risks of the surgery and so far I would rate him on a scale of 1-10 a 9 since I am about to go in for surgery I'll be able to see the rest of skills performed which I feel great about that so far.

Dr. Miller is worth my hour and 1/2 drive to Seaford from North Wilmington!! I found him extremely honest, caring, and generous with his time. And genuinely feel he is committed to my care and well being. In addition, is staff is terrific. I am looking forward to having my surgery and feel confident in his ability.

I HAD FIRST SPOKE WITH BARBARA ZINK WHO IS GREAT!! I HAD MY INITIAL CONSULT WITH DR. MILLER HOWEVER ONCE THERE AND AFTER THE CONSULT I STOPPED DR. SMOOT IN THE HALLWAY AND ASKED IF HE WOULD DO MY SURGERY BECAUSE DR. MILLER IS NEW AND I WANTED SOMEONE WITH ALOT OF KNOWLEDGE AND WHO HAS DONE ALOT OF SURGERIES, HE SAID HE CERTAINLY IS MOR EXPIERIANCED BECAUSE HE HAS DONE THIS ABOUT 16YRS NOW. HE ALSO STATED HE WOULD DO THE SURGERY WITH DR.MILLER JUST LET BARBARA KNOW. HE IS A VERY GOOD LISTENER AND IS VERY NICE, HE SEEMS INTERESTED IN YOUR NEEDS AND CONCERNS ALSO HONEST. HIS STAFF IS VERY OPEN WITH THE RISKS OF SURGERY THEY ALSO TELL YOU HOW MAY FATALITIES THEY HAVE HAD 2 IN ALOT OF YEARS DUE TO BLOOD CLOTS NOT A BAD NUMBER. SO FAR NOTHING BAD ABOUT STAFF OR HIM. OVERALL GREAT. I AM WAITING APPROVAL FROM U.S. HEALTHCARE AND I HAVE TO GET A SLEEP STUDY DONE ON 9-20-2001. I HAD MY SECOND CONSULT WITH DR.MILLER OTH HIM AND DR.SMOOT ARE DOING MY SURGERY DR.SMOOT IS ASSISSTING HIM. HEY I HAVE TO TELL YOU DR.MILLER WAS GERAT HE ANSWERED ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS HONESTLY HE WAS GREAT NOT IN A HURRY TOOK HIS TIME SUCH A SWEET HEART LEFT ME VERY IMPRESSED!!!!!!!!!!

My first impression was one of grat respect for this man, and what he is doing to help people like myself. My impression has not changed, well maybe, only for the better. His office staff is very nice,experienced, and very helpful. There was nothing that I disliked about Dr. Miller. You will like him a lot. He makes you feel at ease. You can really talk to him. He emphasizes afercare a lot. He has a very good aftercare program. He made me fully aware of the risks from the surgery. I would rate him as a very nice surgeon, very feeling, very caring. I will get back to you on the surgical competence, but naturally, I think he is well siuted for the job, otherwise I wouldn't be having him do it. I'm sorry you think 100% reviews are less informative, but in my book he's the one.
