Ronald H. Clements Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Clements has been very nice. He seems so genuine and not prejudice or... judgemental. I think his staff might need some orgizational help though. But so far a great experience with him- i doubt that will change after the surgery- but i will let you know.

I saw a doctor who cared about my welfare and my future. He saw me as a person with an illiness and offered me help. He continously stessed aftercare. He demanded to be notified if I expierenced any problems post-op. Patients return at various intervals post-op for aftercare.

I had my first visit with Dr. Clements on 4/5/02. Like all others have said, he is young looking! My first impression was that he is very straight forward. This lasted throughout the entire visit. The office staff is very friendly. It is a very busy office, and my wait to see the doctor was surprisingly short. There is nothing that I did not like about Dr. Clements. He stresses aftercare, and is very strict. Dr. Clements says if you are not going to be obligated to aftercare and following the proper diet, you might as well go home. The aftercare program is very structured, and as I mentioned, he expects it to be followed strictly. The risks of surgery were discussed in length, both by the video watched, the information packet, and through Dr. Clements. Overall, I would say that Dr. Clements is GREAT!! He is very informative and although he is young, he knows his stuff!! So far, I would certainly recommend him to anyone!!

Dr. Hall was very nice and talked with me for 2-3 hours about the procedure. He was up front about all the risks involved. The staff were all very helpful. I was very excited about having the surgery. I was jerked around by my insurace company. After I was turned downed, after two months of waiting, I gained even more weight, became more depressed. I have not given up! I know this is going to work out for me. Anyone who is considering Dr. Hall, I think he is one of the best. I would recommend him to anyone. My sisterinlaw had the procedure done by him and she done great!

My first impression of Dr. Clements was very good. He was very friendly and had time to spend with me going over all the information I needed to know. He did not rush me to make a decision. He allowed me to ask questions. He wanted me to be absolutely sure that this wls was for me. He seems to really care about me as an individual instead of a number. My second visit with him was great too. He truly seems as excited for me as I am. I feel totally comfortable with him and would highly recommend him as a wls surgeon. He also allowed me to be involved in 2 Research Projects so I feel like I maybe can help others down the road. The office and staff seem to be very organized and are very friendly too. I can't think of anything that I didn't like about Dr. Clements. Future patients should go into the first visit informed as much as possible so you can ask any questions you may have. He puts you at ease with his beautiful smile.Dr. Clements does emphasize aftercare. It is very important to follow up with him so that we know all is well. He feels it is very important for the long term to make sure everything is working properly with no complications. Yes, he does have a structured aftercare program, all of which is in the booklet he gives you. Dr. Clements informed me of all the possibilities of the risks involved in the wls. I feel better knowing what can happen instead of being suprised. I would rate Dr. Clements an A++. I feel like bedside manner makes for better surgical competence. To me it shows he cares about what he is doing. I have heard only positives from others who have had the wls so far. I know he isn't perfect as no one is but I haven't found anything negative about him. Peggins

Dr. Clements was very nice and very direct and to the point. He went over all of the risks and complications and then added all of the overall benefits too. He is very good. He looks really young, but is very knowledgeable and very thorough. He has a good sense of humor and is very east to talk to. He seems to have a very nice staff. His insurance girl Michelle is very nice and helpful, but don't forget to be persistant with her. She is very busy and needs to be reminded occassionally to finish things!! Overall I have had a very pleasant experience with everyone so far.

I have not met Dr Clements yet. He has a long waiting list. My consult appt. is not until June 7. I would love to hear from anyone who has used him.

03-14-2002: My first Appointment is scheduled for end of June but staff has been pleasant so far.

I really like Dr. Clements and still do. His office staff wasn't the best. I mean they weren't the fastest to get things done! He explained all the risks to me and was very compassinate. I would do the very same thing again in a minute and use the same doctor. I would say Dr. Clements' surgical competence and bedside manners were both great.

Dr Clements is an awsome guy. He was so down to earth and took time to answer all of my questions, most of which before I even asked them. He is very young looking, but once he speaks, he puts you at ease, which is not easy to do, since I am in the medical field as well, an RN. His staff was very polite and his insurance person was super nice. My sister had an appointment scheduled for 2 weeks after mine and he agreed to see her along with me at my appointment. That really put him over the top with me, he's not only a good surgeon, but a caring and sensible human being as well. A definite 10+!! No negatives thus far.
