My first impression of Dr. Warnock is that he is a kind, gentle man of god.
My impression is still the same.
His office staff is the Best!!
He empahsizes alot about aftercare.He gives a very structured aftercare program. He went over all the risks of weight loss surgery very thourghly. I would rate Dr. Warnock as the best bariatric surgeon.He has both great surgical competence and bedside manner!

My first impression of Dr. Warnock was that he was a very compassionate Dr. who loves what he does. I had heard nothing but good about him pre-op. My experience went very well, however I felt like I got less time with him then the other people I had talked to. My hubby and I decided that we had done our research and did not have many questions that were left unanswered and were very strong in our decision, therefore maybe he felt we did not need as much of his time. This is just how we have justified it in our minds. Everyone in the office has been wonderful except for the girl that runs the nutrition store. Maybe we caught her on a bad day. She did not have much patience with us and when we asked a question about a product she would look at us and say didn't you have the nutrition classs? I finally told her yes, however it was a lot of information to remember. Dr. Warnock is very commited to your aftercare. He even has his home phone number on his business card. I would give Dr. Warnock a 9 on a scale of 1-10 and would choose him again and refer him to others.

A man directed by God. The staff was really great and caring. Stayed open an hour and waited on me. I took the wrong turn and ended up in Okla City almost, coming in from a little north of Amarillo. I liked everything about him. He was so to the point about everything. Let me know the risks and what I had to do to make this work for me! He made me feel really comfortable, gave eye to eye contact, touched my arm to show me he cared, and asked for a hug before I left. Overall rating from just my initial consultation was...from 1-10..most definetly above and beyond.. I know he will take good care of me.. Not worried in the least.. Thats how sure of him I am at this point!!!

Dr. Warnock is the greatest surgeon I have yet to meet! He is kind, personable,....there are just so many things to say about this man. When I walked into his office he made me feel really comfortable. He's not one of those doctors with a big head who is only in practice to fill his bank account. He makes you feel like an actual human being. He is a religious man who credits God for his success which really impressed me because a lot of surgeons don't do that. If anyone is going to have WLS I would highly recommend Dr. Warnock. I live in Amarillo and drove 3 hours just to see him, based on his experience. There is a bariatric doctor where I live, but I just wasnt' comfortable using him so I chose Dr. Warnock. He is a great man!

Dr.Warnock is an excellent surgeon. His office staff is very friendly, and very well organized. I did feel his speeches were a little too rehearsed, and the office wait is usually very long. He puts alot into the emphasis on aftercare and he does have an estabished program in place. Dr. Warnock is very blunt about the risks. He wants to be sure you know what you are getting yourself into. I would rate him as one of the best in the entire field of bariatric surgery. Surgical competence was surpurb and bedside manner is also pretty good.

Dr. Warnock was an excellent doctor. He made me feel very at ease with my decision and he truly made me feel that I had nothing to fear.

Dr.Warnock was so kind and compassionate. I went in his office with a few fears, after meeting him and his staff I had a peace. He is truly a man of the Lord. I was very impressed with him and I am not easily impressed. The entire staff was more then helpful! I have to say Thank you to Mrs. Johnnie and Mrs. Kim they have both been so sweet and helpful. Also a special thanks to Dr. warnock! They all made sure I was aware of the risk as well as the aftercare. They stressed the importance of excercise and nutrion. There is not a negative thing I can say about Bariatics of Texas. They are one heck of a team. (a great team)

This is a wonderful surgeon. He makes you fell so at peace with what you are about to go through. He and his staff are very kind and caring. He goes over the risks of the surgery and makes sure that you understand that this is not something to be entered into lightly and this is a life long comitment.

Dr. Warnock is a warm, caring person. He made the experience a great one for myself and my husband. I would recommend him to anyone who is considering surgery. Dr. Warnock and his staff are WONDERFUL!

My first impression of Dr. Warnock was that he is a very soft spoken sweet caring man. He looks you stright in the eye and does not beat around the bush. He uses plain English not medical mumbo jumbo like some doctors. His office staff were nice but nothing like he is. He has a lot of compassion and doesn't pull the it's all your fault nonsense. He lets you know that he will be there for you at any time and throughout the rest of your life. He won't abandon you. His whole business is devoted to aftercare for the most part. The Hospital has a Bariatric wing, his office has a resource center so you don't have to go to a specialty store for your nutritional needs unless you want to. I haven't had surgery yet so can't speak for competency but he has done these surgeries for over 25 years and has one of the best survival/recovery rates in the U.S. His bedside manner seems to be one of the greatest things about him. I think his office staff could be a little more personable but they may have been having a hard day.
