dr verdeja and his staff are very nice. he was very completed about the surgery and the after care. i would tell anyone to go to him. i have my date of 5-17-01 for the surgery. they did it right after i say the dr and i was very happy that i don't have to wait very long for it.
I heard good reports about Dr. Verdeja from others who had him as their Surgeon. He was very friendly, open and spent a good amount of time sincerely sharing and even used a dry erase board and several colored pens to draw exactly what the prodedure entailed. I felt completely comfortable and at peace. The staff were wonderful, the office inviting and comfortable, the Insurance lady very accomidating and helpful. First impressions are important, and at this phase I have no complaint.
Dr. Verdeja has not devoted his entire practice to bariatric surgery, and though he is seeing a tremedous amount of patients for RNY bypass, he does other surgeries as well. He said he enjoys varied surgical prodedures in his practice.
