George Ferzli Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS

Dr. Ferzli was very pleasant. His office staff was very helpful and knowledgable whenever I called in with questions, comments, or concers (which were quite a few). At the hospital the staff as well as Dr. Ferzli and his assistant who performed the surgery were kind, generous and made me feel comfortable and secure. I have nothing bad to say about Dr. Ferzli his staff and his surroundings. It was a pleasure and would recommend him to anyone who may come across his needing.

Dr. Ferzli has a lovely, gentle, mannerism when you first meet him. He is a very caring physican who wants the best for his patients. His office staff is also very caring and kind. I can't say that there is anything I don't like about Dr. Ferzli. For the few times that I have met him, he took the time to answer ALL my questions. The only thing is that when I was signing the final consent form Dr. Ferzli made it clear all of the consequences that could happen during and after the surgery which got me quite nervous. However, he reassured me and told me that he had to make me aware of \"what could happen\" but the likelihood was very slim if none at all. If I had to rate Dr. Ferzli I would give him a 10 out of 10. The surgery went well and thank goodness I have had no complications so far. I think that Dr. Ferzli's surgical competence and bedside manner are both superior. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering bariatric surgery or any type of surgery.

Dr. Ferzli related his knowledge well to me so that I may understand and have a clear picture of what my surgery would be like. He has a very nice \"bedside\" manner. The office has great furniture. He has a frienly and informative staff. Support groups played a major factor in my decision to have surgery with Dr. Ferzli. I would love to have observed a post-surgical only support group prior to my surgery especially if you do not go on-line in chat rooms for information.

My first impression of Dr. Ferzli was very reassuring. I was very pleased with his knowledge, attention to details, his patience and the best bedside manners I have seen in a doctor in a long time. Besides being extremely knowledgeable, I think the world of him. He made me feel very safe. He also made me feel secure with the decisions I was making and I felt I was in the best of hands. He explained very well the procedure, the risks and was part of the process from start to finish. He was always available. He is wonderful.

I am feeling very happy & healthy with my weight loss,I still have a long way to go but thank's to Dr. Ferzli and an incredible nutristionist (Laura)I am going in the right direction. I have lost about 52 lbs. and can now walk up a hill and cross my legs. I am now off all my blood-pressure medication, all due to the weight loss.rnrnDr. Ferzli explained everything in detail so there were no surprises- I was disappointed in the care at Lutheran-one nurse on too many hours with too many patients in the room. I was also uncomfortable that the room was co-ed.rnrnDr. Ferzli answered all my questions and was very blunt about the risks of surgery. I am very impressed with his office staff, they are always friendly and helpfull with changing appointments.rnrnMy only regret is I didn't go to Dr. Ferzli years ago. His support groups are run well and very informative.rnrnI thank him very much, for doing a great job with me.

I had a great experience with my Lap Band surgery. Dr. Ferzli and his wonderful staff made the journey pleasureable and easy. The hospital experience was fantastic as well. I was educated before, during and after on what to expect, how to eat, and how to succeed. The support groups helped me learn obstacles I'd run into and how I could overcome them. I feel so much healthier and better about myself. I've lost close to 100 pounds. It came off at a healthy pace. I learned how to eat healthy portions and my weight is staying off. It's nice to know that any time I need encouragement or if my weight has stalled, his staff is always there to help. I would highly recommend Dr. Ferzli to anyone considering this surgery above any other surgeon. when I speak to other people who have had Lap BAnd surgery aith other programs, their programs do not offer the services that I have. I feel that no other program can compare to this one.

I had Bariatric surgery on 12/16/08. Since that date, I have lost over 150 pounds. Dr. Ferzli explained to me on many occasions, the procedure in great detail. He made me feel very comfortable. He and his entire team are very professional and courteous as is his office staff. Dr. Ferzli and his team of surgeons visted me repeatedly in the hospital. I would highly recommned him and the program to anyone considering Bariatric surgery.

I was very confident going into surgery. My doctor came into surgery energetic and ready to prepare me for my new life. Lutheran Hospital staff was wonderful. They took very good care of me. I was in a lot of pain after. They quickly adminitered the medication I needed to feel more comfortable. They let me rest and did not bother me unnecessarily. Getting discharged was difficult. I felt that the prescribed medication should have been typed and ready when I was released. I had to wait for a doctor to write it and that kept me there for an extra hour, when all I wanted to do was be home to recuperate. Other than that, I had a very pleasant experience.

first i have to say his staff are so kind and so pleaseant they all ways make u feel comfortable when u come into the office.rnas for dr.ferzli and dr.vulpe they are outstanding surgeons since i had my surgery i have lost 32 pounds and i feel great they have been on top of my health. when i come in for my adjustments i have to say its pain free and just enough to allow for the restriction that i need . overall i have been to other doctors and i feel this is the best office and doctors i have ever seen and dealt with i highly reccomend dr.ferzli and dr.vulpe you will be amazed with results.

Dr.Ferzli was professional, confident and to the point.My impression of him did not change over time.I am extremely happy with the office staff they are all wonderful reliable and caring I would give them a 10 across the board.The staff made me feel very comfortable.I found Dr. Ferzli and his staff to be extremely professional and my surgical procedure was without complications. I would highly recommend Dr. Ferzli and his program.
