Doctor Ferzli and his entire office staff were very professional and had a thorough approach. The entire process was educational and the staff have always been encouraging.

I love Doctor Ferzli. The first time I saw him, I had a feeling that I could trust him with my life 100%. I was right, the surgery was a success, no complications. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes. That night, I was walking down the hallway with my nurse at the hospital. It was very important to walk after surgery. I was in Lutheran Medical Center for only two days but I had doctors checking in on me often. The follow up care at Doctor Ferzli's office is a pleasure. They gave me a lot of information before surgery and I can always call if I have questions. I now see Laura the nutritionist. I'm glad that I chose Doctor Ferzli and his team. I lost 45 pounds in the last two months and I feel great. YEAH!

Well...I just had my surgery a week ago and I was referred to Dr. Ferzli by a friend of mine who had the surgery 2 or 3 years ago. I didn't get to meet him at the beginnig but all what my friend told me about him and after I went to the office and have seen all the awards that he took from all over the world, was more than enought to complete a perfect impression on Dr. Ferzli. And when I finally met him, I was impressed by his calmness, professionalism and the sweet smile that is always on his face.
The day of the Surgery before i go to the operation room, he came to me and talked with me a little bit to make me feel calm. and after the surgery also, he came to the recovery room to make sure that I was ok. His Assistant Dr. Vulpe also was checking on me everyday while I was in the hospital. Dr. Ferzli and the whole team are very caring and very professional and I'm glad that I took the right decision by going to Dr. Ferzli and following his program, and i would definitly recommend Dr, Ferzli to everyone.
Also Karen Sander the co-ordinator helped me a lot in finishing all my paper work. also a special thanks to laura the nutritionist who answered all my questions and concerns until the day before my surgery

Overall, both Doctor Ferzli and Doctor Vulpe are amazing. They make you feel comfortable and they answer all your questions clearly. Karen, the nurse explained everything perfectly and Laura, the nutritionist helps me out constantly. The entire staff is very kind.

My first impression of the doctor was that he was very serious but also very confident in his work. The entire staff was always very nice, never rude and always made me feel at ease. I never feel afraid or intimidated to ask questions. The risks of surgery have always been reviewed with me. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest, I would give this program a 10.

My first impression of the surgeon was very positive. Most important, I never felt judged or looked down upon because of my weight. I felt very comfortable with Doctor Ferzli and his staff from day one. The positive and negative aspects were explained from the first day I consulted with him. I have been very happy with the entire experience and would recommend Doctor Ferzli and his staff to anyone.

I am ready to sign consent and then will hopefully, have surgery with Dr. George Ferzli. I am confident that I made the right decision because he has a good reputation and I am treated well when I'm at the office. All of his staff are kind and courteous. I'm excited to continue this path with this program.

I have made the decision to hopefully have a lap band. I was referred to Doctor Ferzli by my primary care doctor. So far, I like him. I felt like he cared about each patient and I didn't feel rushed in his office. The staff also seemed friendly and i have received a lot of information from the nutritionist and nurse. I'm hoping my insurance company will approve me.

Met Dr. Ferzli and his staff for the 1st time on Monday, 3/16. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. Dr. Ferzli, very nice made me feel extremly comfortable.

Update: Had my surgery on 12/9/2009, and I cannot say enough good things about Dr Ferzli and his staff. Dr Ferzli is very nice and every time I've seen him has a gentle smile on his face. His staff is very friendly and accomodating. The hosptial, Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, was also a wonderful experience, the staff/nurses was very friendly and helpful.

Any questions or concerns that I may have had, Dr Ferzli, his staff and the hosptial always addressed them, and made sure that I understood. They didnt just ramble medical terms and walk away.

Dr. Ferzli is amazing. He is the best. He is not too involved in the beginning of the process because he has so many patients, and so many people go for initial consultations and do not follow through, however once you reach the point where you are definitely going to have the surgery he is there every step of the way and if he isn't there someone from his office is. You must follow the rules and make some serious changes to prepare for the surgery as well as after surgery. Dr. Ferzli and his associates work together as a team. The nutritionists and pyschologists are great. I also appreciated, and still do, the support groups. The other patients that Dr. Ferzli has plays a vital role in weight loss surgery. If you are still skeptical come to a meeting and see for yourself, you will hear other testimonies as well. Dr. Ferzli is very knowledgeable and so is his staff. He changed my life and I know he can change yours.
