My first impression of Dr.Waldrep was confidence with a good sense of humor. I have met him twice in a group setting and my one on one pre-op appointment and am convinced he is the right surgeon for me. The office staff is wonderful. A shout out to Katrina that handles all the pre-op testing and surgery scheduling. You are more than patient. I also like Dr. Waldrep's PA Mike. Funny guy. The doctor, WOW supprt group leader's and Mike (the PA) are very clear about the risks and what post-op changes that need to be made within you and your life style to make this tool work. I would rate Dr. Waldrep and his staff/support group to be the best. I would not have anyone else do this surgery.

My first impression of Dr. Waldrep was one of great relief. He did not judge me and that was great, he didn’t make me feel like it was all my fault I was fat. His staff is also GREAT.. I still to this day almost one year out feel like they are there for me. What I like least well nothing, but he is a very busy guy so on office visits I don’t always get to see him but Mike and Tara are great so it is ok. Dr. Waldrep is helping someone else achieve a wonderful “Tool” for an awesome new life. The whole staff is great on the explanation of aftercare, and discussing the risks and they do have an aftercare plan, also the hospital Sutter Roseville has a class to tell you some aftercare and risks to think about. The whole package is wonderful. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Waldrep and Mike and the whole SALSA staff and the Sutter Hospital ladies, from nurses to the director of the bar iatric area. I would rate Dr. Waldrep a BIG 10... and his staff a HUGE 10... Thank you guys so much. I would do this all over again today!!!!!

What a delightful gentleman! At group consult, he had us laughing so hard, my friend (who accompanied me was 4 days postop)nearly had to leave she couldn't stop laughing so hard. I've gotten my preop checklist taken care of and now just waiting for my one-on-one preop consult - hopefully soon!

Dr. Waldrep and his staff are amazing! They all take such wonderful care of their patients. I am so fortunate that he performed the surgery. I had no complications, yet they visited me 2 times a day to make sure I was doing well.

Dr. Waldrep was the principle reason I decided to proceed with surgery in Roseville. My impression with Drs. Waldrep and Suh improved at each visit.
Office staff was positive, but overworked and sometimes disorganized.
Dr. Waldrep's careful communications was thorough. He listened and responded in kind.
Dr. Waldrep walked through a long "scare" sheet listing the dangers of the surgery and possibilities of complications. He did not minimize any of them, but did elaborate on each one.

I recommend Dr. Waldrep's skills performing the RNY bypass... It is working very well with me......

Dr. Waldrep was not my first choice. He was definitely my final choice. I thank God for the contact we had and the fact he performed my surgery.....

Dr. Waldrep was very informative and nice and funny from the first time I met him. His bed side manner is awesome and the concern and care I have been shown by him makes me feel like the only patient he has. I know I am not but he and his staff are awsome!!

Dr. Waldrep is very calming (and very handsome!) and extremely knowledgeable.

He has never let me down!

I don't like that he doesn't continue seeing you after the first postop appt. But his PA Mike is great and has softened the blow!

He is very blunt, to the point and holds nothing back.

I would have the surgery done over and over only if Dr. Waldrep and Mike were the ones taking care of me.
