I got a free sample and tried it. The directions do not tell you to dilute it with anything, so I did not realize I was supposed to. The smell and taste were so awful I could only get half the dose down. It went. I went to bed two hours later and woke up in the middle of the night and spent close to an hour vomiting into the commode and feeling like I was being ripped apart inside. That taste and smell of the product mixed with vomit made it a night I will never forget. I will also never try this again.

I haven't had my surgery yet(July 1st,2002) but I'm giving my immune system a big BOOST so I will heal much quicker post-op!!!! This product will be "yucky" to most but it does have 15 grams of "pre-digested" protein in 2T. I experimented with it and I mixed it with Crystal Lite and it was very good. Remember we CAN have Crystal Lite!!!! Get on their website and they will send you out a FREE SAMPLE(you can't lose).

I know it's a great source of protein but it tastes awful! It's like citrus and old socks!

I was having a very hard time with protein drink mixes and just could not get it all in and then get in my water for the day it was just too filling. Then I found Proteinex this is the greatest. It takes no time at all in the morning and leaves me room for all my water. And doesn't make me all full and sluggish for my morning workout. I LOVE IT!!!!

They sent me a sample bottle and I tried one tablespoon. I will continue to use it if I must in some Orange Juice but I just really did not like the taste.

The product gives you 15g protein for 2T. It tastes like a citrus cough syrup. You can put it in frig for a bit of a better taste. It's not bad considering 15g protein for 2T.

This was way too sweet for me. I got it down better just taking it like cough syrup which it reminds me alot of. I would be willing to use it if I could not get my protein in but only if desperate.

don't taste it when mixed with sugar free tang

When nausea is an issue and taste really matters this product fails. You must take too much to meet protein requirements daily

I was introduce to proteinex by my RD,I was surprise in only two tablespoon I get my 15 gns of protein without all that sugar,fats etc..What I like about the product is that is a pharmaceutical product that have been use in the medical field as a medication for people with different renal condition,this is not a chocolate shake or nothing like that.In my opinion is the best source of protein per dosification in the market today.
