Horrible experience, I was using Liquacel for quite a while but wasn't thrilled about the 9g carbs per serving and sometimes the Liquacel seemed pretty sweet. So I gave P18 a shot because of the good reviews. Boy was I wrong, I order 10 single oz. bottles, after the first two bottles after the first day, I began vomiting, it had never happened before and then I got pretty sick. I go not know whether it was the product or not and then I went to bottle #3 thinking the problem was me, from that point on, all the other bottles lacked both an expiration date and they had a crust buildup around the safety seal. The taste overall was pretty bad, the Liquacel peach mango is much better and I know Liquacel is a reputable company. Some proteinex were even leaking out. The fact that they lacked an exp. date and lot code scared me, someone should alert the FDA.

Proteinex is not for Bariatrics
It is Collegen Protein which is the worst form of protein for our bodies.

Its comparable to Pro-Stat Liquid Protein which I also get from www.cwimedical.com. I wish it tasted better, but if you add some water to it, it breaks it up and makes it a little better.

Love the idea of protein in pills!!

I love it! I just take it and keep on going, I don't complain with the taste, any other cough medicine is worst!! its only 2 tablespoons, I mix it with cherry jell-o!! At the end, you are only looking forward to getting better and improving your health, not to complain about how the product tastes. The pills are great, even better!! my albumin levels have increased and its just what I wanted!

This drink is sweetened with Splenda - is not so overly sweet as many drink mixes are- the flavor is excellent and intense enough but not overpowering... we love it - It's recently become available in the container of little tubs that make 1/2 gallons too.

This is the best thing I've found yet as far as a protein supplement goes! It's taken just like the liquid protein. 2 pills 3 times a day total 45g of protein. It's so convenient too. You dont have to deal with the taste of the liquid. The price is average. It's the same price for 16 oz of liquid Proteinex. With less hassle!

THIS PRODUCT ALSO HELPED ME EXTENSIVELY AND I STILL USE IT TO GET EXTRA PROTEIN. I AM ALMOST 2 YEARS POST-OP AND STILL LOSING. I USE THE LIQUID AND THE TABLETS. I WOULD RECOMMEND PROTEINEX TO ANYONE.

If you mix 1 oz with 3 oz of flat diet orange soda, it goes down quick and easy. I can't stand the smell of protien powders/mixes so this is a great altenative for me.

The taste is not ideal straight from the bottle. I'll need to mix it with juice. 4 TBL a day (30 mg) should be a good supplement to what I gain from my meals.
