This is my first experience with protein shakes. I bought these after reading a few comments on this site. I bought one package of the Dark Chocolate variety from Walmart. I drank it super-chilled and it was very good. It tasted like the thick chocolate milk I used to get as a kid in the midwest. It tastes too good to be healthy for you.

I am adding a 1/2 scoop of this to Sugar Free Jello Pudding, 2% milk (2/3 cup) and a packet of Sugar Free Carnation Instant Breakfast- then shake it to death! It is very thick and creamy. It gives me 23 grams of protein, 9 oz. of liquid, and only 230 calories, very little carbs and sugar. Yummy. I keep it mixed up in the fridge and sip on it all day long. I am one week post-op and this is a life-saver in getting in my protein for the day. I change it up daily. Sometimes choc pudding, sometimes vanilla ....Enjoy.
(indicates that they have used the product)I am pre-op and have been replacing two meals a day with protein powders. I have tried some from Bariatric Advantage and Unjury, but this is the best tasting. The first ones I didn't have to "force" down. Vanilla mixed with Orange Crystal Light is great. I've also been using some sugar free syrups. The chocolate powder with german chocolate cake syrup is fantastic too. Cheaper and better tasting. What is wrong with that?
