Syntrax Nectar Whey Protein Isolate, Apple Ecstasy by Syntrax® - Protein Powder

I got my free sample sent to me by Syntrax just recently. I LOVED this apple flavor and have already made plans to order the large tub in this flavor and maybe some of the others. It mixed up very well with just eight ounces of water, despite being ALOT of powder. I thought, no WAY I'm gonna like this, then I stirred it up, poured it over ice and WOW!! It was so much better than the typical chocolate, vanilla or strawberry "shake" type drinks that one HAS to add extra's to in order to tolerate it or make it palatable!! This gets a DEFINITE thumbs up from me. I would not, however, recommend ordering this product straight from Syntrax as it's somewhat expensive. I did a search engine for "Nectar Protein" and found some sites selling this for as little as $22.50 plus $5.95 S/H so DO YOUR HOMEWORK and enjoy Nectar for even cheaper!!

I've got two words to describe it - YUM-MY! Wow! Tastes like a granny smith apple. Very nice, mixes well with ice water. Also, fewer calories and carbs than the GNC whey protein. A great change from the usual vanilla! I've also tried the Cherry Berry (also very good) and the Carribbean Cooler (not bad, but a bit too heavy on the banana flavor for my tastes). Looking forward to trying the Kiwi Strawberry soon!

We tried this as pre-ops. It was interesting. I had never had a protein shake before. It was really fruity, candy like. It was definately better cold than room temperature. It mixed completely with a spoon. It would have been better with crushed ice. I think it will do just fine post op for us both.

I was COMPLETELY surprised at how fantastic this protein product is! I wish I would have discovered it in the beginning, but I am so very happy I have it now. I will have to order more before the original price goes beck to $49.99.

Taste just like apple jolly ranchers! I also enjoy the Caribean Cooler, that tastes like pina-colada.

This was actually pretty good! I was amazed - I think I could drink this everyday.

I ordered Very Berry Cherry and Apple Ectasy. I've tried the Cherry, it was a little too much like cherry Jello to me, but I am not keen on Cherry flavored things, but I thought I'd try. I was reading about the Nectar on-line and they said you can even eat it dry, I promptly got my apple sample and dipped my finger in, powdered Jolly Rancher! It was wonderful! I am going to mix it up today for my lunch! It has high protein, although we shouldn't be consuming any more than 30 grams at a time cuz' that is all we can absorb at one time, but a small amount gets your protein in and it's a good alternative to people (like me) who are not to keen on the chocolate and vanilla flavors. I am stuck on my sno cone machine, and I think this stuff would be pretty good mixed 1 scoop to about 4-5 ounces of water and dumped over sno cone ice! MMMMMMMMMMMm! And you get it more liquid with the sno cone ice! I am definitely buying more of this! WLS success has a flashing banner with a deal for it but I bought mine from Vitalady and have other things to buy so I am going with her. The sample price is well worth the time and money so you don't spend mucho bucks on something that tastes like a chalkboard!Yeah for Nectar!

The drink is SUGAR-FREE and 2 scoops provides 46 grams of protein! It also tastes excellent. I purchased the Apple flavor, and it tastes EXACTLY like Jolly Rancher's green apple candy!
