Sarah Stout Physician Assistant (PA) PA-C

Sarah Stout is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in general, bariatric and laparoscopic surgery. With more than a decade of medical experience, Sarah provides thoughtful and compassionate care to her patients. She obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology at North Dakota State University and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Union College. Throughout her medical career, she has worked as an emergency medical technician, a phlebotomist, and as a physician assistant in various specialties including orthopaedics, general and bariatric surgery.

Sarah supports her patients both in the office and in the operating room – performing minor procedures and serving as a critical part of the surgical team during laparoscopic surgical procedures. She enjoys helping her patients throughout their bariatric surgery journey – whether it’s helping them navigate complicated insurance processes, preparing for surgery, or recovering and maintaining their new lifestyle after a weight loss procedure.

When not treating patients, Sarah enjoys traveling, reading, going to the theater, listening to live music and learning new skills. She spends as much time as possible with her husband, Jon, and three children Owen, Cooper and Harrison, along with her dog, Jack.
