Dr. Cerabona, is the Best... My first impression of him was that as soon as he walked into the room, I knew I was in the right place....He gave you the info in Black and White, held nothing back very caring. The whole Dr. Staff is Great..... I just Love the office Staff... JUDY....LIZ....PHYLLIS.....CARLOS......One thing they are very BUSY.... so you may have to wait but they are worth the WEIGHT......
Dr. Cerabona was a very pleasant doctor to deal with. He was personal and very caring. He exuded confidence.rnThe office has the total package.rnEverything that you need is available right there. They require that you follow a strict regimen to ensure that you are ready for the surgery.rnrnMy experience was phenomenal.
Dr. Cerebona was very easy to talk to. Iwas very comfortatble talking to him at my consultation, he is very experienced and well known in his field. He is a compassionate Dr.,overall he is an AAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++ doctor. as a matter of fact he is doing a hernia repair for me. I wouldnt have any one else do this surgery on me.
The office staff is less desireable, so are some of the nurses a WMC.
The first time I saw Dr. Cerabona was at a WLS seminar in early April 2005. I was impressed by how friendly and funny he was and how comfortable he made everyone feel. I only got to meet him briefly during my first visit in mid April, but he was very knowledgeable and quickly referred me for extra tests when he read in my chart about my past DVT.
I was referred to him by my vascular surgeon as well as by people I work with and I was very impressed that with all the people he sees, he remembered talking to my vascular surgeon about me!
His office staff has been wonderful, always polite and very helpful, even though they are at times VERY busy. I was impressed by the fact that they were able to book my first appointment within 2 weeks of the seminar.
I work for my HMO and I have to say that I have heard nothing but rave reviews about Dr. Cerabona from the people I work with! My surgery is in 9 days and I feel very confident about putting myself in his capable hands!
They have a great support group that meets every other Wednesday too and I have met some really wonderful people there!
I wanted to add that I had Dr. Kaul and Dr. Dobruskin assiting Dr. Cerabona with my surgery and even though they weren't able to do my bypass this time, I got to talk to all of them in recovery and they were wonderful. They were very thorough and very compassionate and I hope I have them again the next time I go to the OR!
UPDATE: I had my surgery on 10-20-05 and everything went great! They are all wonderful, I have had almost no pain and 9 days later I feel pretty darn good, all things considered!
So far, my impressions of Dr. Cerabona nd his office staff have been positive. I have called the office staff very frequently over the past few months, been a bit of a pest even, and for the most part they have been extremely gracious and helpful. I believe Dr. Cerabona's surgical history is extremely important and I am confident in his surgical competence and it appears his bedside manner will continue to be comforting and encouraging.
Dr. Cerabona is very professional, knowledgable and KIND. He and his associates, Drs. Kaul and Yatko, work as a team and there are always at least two of them assisting each procedure. Follow-up care is good, but any kind of group help should be requested by each individual patient. The office staff is wonderful, but overworked....they have as many as 300 patients at any one time. Any help you can give them is beneficial to them as well as to you. Each person should be armed with a written list of questions when meeting the surgeon for the first time; this group will answer truthfully anything asked. Be concise, however; the first consultations can be very short.
He was a friendly and informative , but yet honest and professional.
I feel the same but he is on a more of a personal status.
His office staff is friendly and helpful.
Nothing I found him and his staff to be poliete.
He is an honest Dr and to the point.
He emphasize after care to be very important .
Yes he does have a aftercare program .
The risk of surgery are there in BLACK and WHITe and he is there for any question you need answered.
I would recommend him to anyone.
I think both are hand in hand with one another.
