Dr. Rosen is a very kind and happy doctor. He was an excellent choice for anyone!rnrnHis staff is excellent, caring, and always available. They are great to work with.rnrnPre-care was so important and so stressed before I could have my surgery. Changing one's eating habits is not as easy as a \"snip snip\" and they are sure you practice all the steps necessary 'before' surgery, so you're well-acquainted with them after the procedure.rnrnI am self-pay and their staff was senstive to that, as well. They have payment plans, are reasonably priced, easy to get to in Chicago - and even the 'fills' are reasonably priced!rnrnI live in Indiana but make a point of driving 3-1/2 hours to be seen by Dr Rosen and his staff. That's the kind of care I want and receive at Life Weigh Bariatrics.
First Impression: Very knowledgablernrnStill excellent knowledge, patient, funny and kind.rnrnOffice staff, very professional.rnrnThe wish center, is a full program. I did a supervised diet and exercise program for 3 months prior to my surgery. I met with a nutrionist, exercise person and a psychiatrist as well as the other medical test.rnrnI feel surgical compentence ranks higher then bedside manner. I want someone who knows what they are doing and can handle a complication if one should arise. The nurses really are the ones who administer bedside manners.rnrnOverall, I would recommend Dr. Rosen and his staff to anyone. My husband was also impressed with Dr. Rosen's knowledge of the surgery procedure.
Dr. Rosen explained everything on a level that I could understand. He was very relaxed, never once rushed me. Always has a cute smile. You can tell he is compassionate about what he does. He really wants to help people. His staff has been great. They are in it for the long haul, not just getting you thru the surgery.
He was very nice, to the point and explained everything in a good way.The office staff were also very nice and helpful and sped things along quickly. Dr. Rosen was very adimit about the after care and wants me to be very strict on everything I need to do. The Wish Center has an after care program. They all addressed the risks of the surgery largely, they were very informative and insightful. I rate him a 10 if that is the highest rank here.
Very personable. Not condescending at all. Patient with questions. Very intelligent. Very straighforward on possible complications and risks. Will not do surgery unless patient is truly committed and willing to do the work. Impressions have been consistent over time. Office staff is very helpful, very pleasant. Respond quickly to questions. Only problem is with billing staff who truly seem confused and possibly incompetent, but in the big scheme of things, this is, so far, a minor annoyance. I really like everything about him and appreciate his emphasis on aftercare and its importantce. The WISH Center really emphasizes sticking with the program. I have recommended him to others and would give him a 10 for excellence as a rating. Both his experience and competence and his bedside manner are terrific.
I really like Dr. Rosen. He is very personable and easy to talk to. His office is at the Wish Center in Downers Grove, IL and he has a great support staff. He really emphasizes the aftercare. It's a very structured program. The risks of surgery were fully discussed. I would give him a high rating and would recommend him to anyone considering surgery. Both his surgical competence and bedside manner are great.
