James Georgitis Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

He is smart, Health concious and cares about his patients. The Pre-op meeting was very informative not rushed. Dr. very willing to answer questions. The office workers are nice and pleasant. Confidentiality is a concern for them. I didn't feel the least bit hesitant with this group. The Dr's assistant is caring and listens to any concerns that the patient could have. Appointments are not hard to get. Aftercare has been good. The support meetings in Biddeford are highly recommended by the Dr.
Bedside manner is excellent. He is very busy so a lot of times the assistant will talk with you. He is hard to pin down.

Dr. Georgitis is a very friendly, down to earth Dr. He loves what he does, and it shows. He was almost as excited about my surgery than I was! His nurse, Brandy, was also great! The office staff went out of their way for me, and made me feel very comfortable. I have absolutely no complaints about Dr. Georgitis, Brandy, and his staff. I will be seeing him on Monday for the first time since my surgery, and am very excited!

Dr. Georgitis is a wonderful doctor, and I would recommend him highly to anyone!

I must say that Dr. G is a wonderful man whom I had met way before I had decided on my surgery. He was my husbands surgeon on 3 different occasions 3 yrs ago. i loved him then... he was so honest, upfront and his bedside manner was unbelivable! He really truely cares about his patients and that is important. When I found out he would be my surgeon for the GBS I was delighted! It really made my desicion to have the surgery that much easier. HIs office staff for the most part were very helpfull and kind but there was a few times I felt more like a number then a human. I guess we all have our days tho...I really cant find anything I didnt like about him at all. Dr. G really pushes the fact that this is a "TOOL" not a remedy to weight loss... He also was very thurough about explaining all the ups and downs. I give Dr. Georgitis and Brandy who was also a big part of my experiance, a 10+++

Dr. g is a wonderful sergeon, he has a no holds bard punch, but has a wonderful bed side manner. He is very good at what he does and is very thurough, in following through with things, I would recommend him to anyone for this surgery , or any other needs.

I met Dr. Georgitis on Jan. 19 for the first time. He seemed very caring, very supportive. I think I have made the right choice for myself. His assistant Brandy was also very nice, very informative,and very caring. In fact the whole office staff was very nice. I am pleased with the whole experience so far.

I started the process in December 2002. My very first appointment with Dr Georgitis will be May 5, 2003. Dr James Georgitis is the truly a compassionate, sincerely caring, and very smart doctor. He takes the time to answer ALL my questions thoughly.
If I had it to do all over again I would do it and would go to Dr G. He is an excellent surgeon. His assistance, Brandy Eaton has been great too. She's also a compassionate, caring young woman that takes time to asnwer and encourage. A GREAT GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE TO USHER IN THIS LIFE CHANGING EVENT IN ANYONES LIFE.

I liked Dr Georgitits. He was friendly and right to the point.
I just met him for the first meeting. So that is what I think so far.

Dr. Georgitis, and his office staff have been wonderful. We could not ask for any more, they are caring, and very helpful. We have made an excellent choice.

He was very kind and caring, and answered all questions. I think he is an excellent choice!!

my surgeon is the best. he and his staff helped me
everystep of the way. from the first phone call
and the many many phone calls to follow.he is very
pleasant and "hansome" (not that,that matters but it helps)
he will explain anything
you can think of to ask- and he explains it so
you will understand it. his office is just the
surgeron it is not were you go for your blood work
or you phys. eval. or to see your dietian those
are on a "find your own" basic. but his office
help sends you your requirements.
i only seen doc g. the day after surgery i did not
see him when i was admited to the hospital on the
day of surgery. but i am sure he was there because when
i woke up i was all done and had 42 staples in my stomach.
not to mention was really high on morphin.
