George Kerlakian Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

My first impression of Dr. Kerlakian was what a caring and professional Dr. he is. He immediately put me at ease. Went through the entire process with me. Let me know they will always be there for any help that I will need. This group has an extremaly structured before and after program. I am very impressed with all the staff. They are very kind and extremly helpful and very friendly. I love seeing all the them.

My first impression of Dr. Kerlakian was very honest open caring and courteous. Have only met with him in the seminar and the one on one consultation. His office staff were very knowledgeable and eager to help. He is very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to answer any questions. Honest about the risks and the few patients he has lost.

Dr. Kerlakian was great. He is very professional yet caring. The office staff are wonderful & very supportive. I would have to rate the Doctor & his Staff with a "10".

great bed side manor .makes you feel at ease .Maped out all the dangers and did not push me either way.At the hospital he talked to me about my concerns and questions.He was great with my mom too .F/u so far has been wonderful .His staff is excellent too

When I first went to the WLS seminar. It was very informative. I was pleased that the staff each spoke about their role in the program. I was also pleased that Dr.K took the time to attend the seminar to discuss the procedures of the surgery. I really appreciated the binder filled with information to help me and the life style changes that were forthcoming.
When I went to my first appt. with him I was pleased with the was he answered my questions and his comfort level.
Him & his staff helped make me feel more comfortable. Its never easy to make the decision to have surgery. Its scary and risky!
However, I felt like I was in good hands with Dr. K and his team!He did visit me in the hospital. The dietician visited me as well! I appreciated that!
I am already 3 weeks post-op. I am feel great about my decision.I would rate him in the top percentile.I would recommend Dr. K to another WL candidate.

My first impression of Dr Kerlakian was that he cared about people whom are fighting obesity. Over time my respect for him grew and I trusted him. His wonderful, dedicated staff were very supportive for example; I had some problem with a very rude physician while I was in the hospital recovering from my WLS. One of Dr. K's staff came to my bedside she sat with me and reassured me that I was in good hands. Dr. K and his staff greatly emphasized the importance of aftercare and the risks of WLS. I give Dr. K and his wonderful staff two thumbs up!!

I've only been to the seminar held by Dr Kerlakian and his staff. I have to say i'm impressed with his office at this point. They are VERY knowlegible with regards to the whole surgery process, what to expect from insurance, and what to expect before and after the surgery. The have a well organized and well structured program. He seemed to be very nice and caring about his patients. He was not in ANY rush and answered all questions which were asked. The seminar is VERY valuable and all patients in this area considering this surgery should attend this. He and his staff thoroughly explained everything, including the risks of the surgery, what to expect, what to do prior to and after surgery. I would have to say overall (at this point), he and his staff are very impressive. I hope to receive the best care from him and his staff, and if the seminar is any indication, I'm sure i will.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Kerlakian. He did an excellent job and made me feel at ease. He took a "better safe than sorry" approach to all aspects of my care and I am doing all the better for it! Dr. Kerlakian is supported by a wonderful staff including Vickie and Cyndy in his office and Maria the nutritionist. Together they have helped make this journey so much easier to take!

Dr. Kelakian and his staff were prepared,knowledgeable, and professional from my first encounter with their team. At this point in my post-op I can say nothing but good things. Everyone has been so kind and understanding. I was treated very well by all of the nurses and support staff, both in the office and at the hospital. During my hospital stay I was visited many times by the Dr., his interns, and nurses and their positive supportive attitudes made all the difference in my recovery. I would rate the team as a 9.5.

My first impression of Dr. Kerlakian was genuine concern. He really wants to help people. His office staff is very friendly and supportive.

What I liked the most about him was he was to the point. He didn't hide the risks and he wanted to make sure that I was emotionally ready for the surgery. That told me that he cared about the patients.

His staff visited me in the hospital. I just came home today 5/12/05. All the staff told me to call with any questions. I know that the door is open if I have any problems.

I would recomend him to anyone that is considering WLS. He is a true Godsend, he has open doors to change my life. I can never thank him or his staff enough.
