Caring and very informative!

Dr. Angus, is not only handsome but he is a great doctor. He maded me feel so importmant as he explained everything about the surgery even when he explained the risks of having surgery I truly felt like this man really cares about me. He took his time to make sure I truly understand everything about the surgery. He let me know that at anytime I could change my mind even up until the day they roll me into the operating room . Well my surgery was on 8/14/2006 and I am doing great. I would like to say THANK YOU to Dr. Angus and his staff for they were truly outstanding in how they took sure great care of me while I was in the hosptial.

The most kind, understanding, knowledgeable man/ doctor I have ever met. My impresion 5 years later is still the same. I cosider him "a friend".Aftercare is encouraged. % years later he still comes to the phone to answer my questions.

Dr. Angus made me feel so comfortable. He is really nice and friendly and made you feel as if you knew him though you are meeting him for the first time. His staff Nelka & Regina is just as wonderful. Dr Angus and his staff are very informative about the surgery. He drew a diagram of the procedure and told me what to expect. He told me that this is a life long change and that this is not for him but for me. If at any time I wanted to back down from the surgery and change my mind, even the day of the surgery that it's ok. I am glad I went with him. I feel I made a good chioce.

My first impression of Dr. Angus is that he is very reserved. He is very knowledgeable regarding Gastric Bypass surgery. He has impeccable bedside manner and cares very much for his patients. I mostly loved his honesty regarding the surgery.

I have been EXTREMELY impressed by him. He has thoroughly explained everything, including the risks. While his office staff may not be the most personable, they are entirely professional. The Dr. and the program emphasize aftercare, with a very structured approach. He's great, and I'm looking forward to my surgery.

Dr. Angus is a wonderful doctor who demonstrates a tremendous amount of knowledge, professionalism and compassion. On my fist visit with him, I was amazed at the amount of time he dedicated to me. It was obvious that he was needed in many places at the same time yet he refused to be rushed an made sure that I understood the procedures risks and benefits. His honesty shines through his every word. He is down to earth and explained thing in words that everyone could understand. Dr. Angus is the Director of Trauma at the Nassau Community Medical Center. When I learned this I knew that he was not just any surgean and that I was in good hands. He is secure in his abilities and has the bedsie manner to match. One might read this and think "wow she speaks as if he is God". No, not God but close to it!

I chose Dr. Angus because I know 3 women who have been operated on by him. I met him on Dec 18th. His staff was very nice and made me feel very confortable. He was very approachable and informative. He drew a diagram of the procedure and tole me what I can expect. He wanted be sure I know that this is a lifestyle change. He also let me know that he is not God nor is he a miracle worker. Needless to say I am going with him!!

DR ANGUS IS THE MOST CARING MAN THAT YOU WILL EVER MEET. WHEN YOU FIRST MEET HIM HE MAKES YOU FEEL SO COMFORTABLE. HE IS NOT ONLY YOUR DR BUT HE IS ALSO YOUR FRIEND THAT IS WHAT MAKES HIM SO SPECIAL. HIS STAFF IS ALSO WONDERFUL NELKA AND REGINA.

My first impressions was that this is a man I can let cut me open with ease. He was very friendly and very informative about the pre op testing, the surgery, and post op issues. He also emphasizes that he is with you for a lifetime.
He was very open and honest about the risks and benefits. i left his office feeling like a new person already.
