I was happy to meet Doctor Ferzli. I'm confident that I'm in good hands. Lisa, the nutritionist, Dr. Saperstein and Karen, the coordinator were very helpful to me. I found the support groups to be interesting and they gave me advice to follow after surgery. I would recommend this program to everyone who is seeking weight loss surgery.

Doctor Ferzli seemed very compassionate. The whole office was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. It really seems that they emphasize aftercare and give you a bunch of information. I've been very satisfied so far.

Since my first meeting with the coordinator, everything has been great. I received a bunch of information and I made a decision to have the procedure that would work best for me. The support group meetings have been the most helpful and I plan on coming even after surgery as much as I can. Everyone in the office has been very helpful, especially with helping me figure out the paperwork. I love how every person I spoke to said that I'm not alone in this and that they are there to help me. That made me feel confident going forward with this surgery. Thank you to this program!

When I met Doctor Ferzli, I found him to be very professional. He had a great combination of being veery informative yet down to earth. I found that asking questions was comfortable. The team makes it eaasy to get everything done because they outline all that needs to be done; I just had to follow their lead. I highly recommend this program.

My impression of Dr. Ferzli was that he is a very experienced surgeon. He is confident and very pleasant which makes me feel more at ease.

Great Doctor but Lutheran Medical Center needs to re-evaluate leavin Bariatric patients in post-op recovery room overnight.....WE NEED TO RECOVER IN A HOSPITAL ROOM

Doctor Ferzli was very professional when I met him. He was very informative and down to earth. I found him easy to talk to. I just followed the lead of the bariatric team as to what tests and consultations I needed to prepare for surgery. The program emphasized aftercare and all risks were reviewed. I would highly recommebd this program.

Doctor Ferzli seems like a very honest person. He reviewed the risks of the surgery and explained how it would be done. Overall, the program is very well outlined. The process to get approved is long but during the months of preparing, it gives you time to reflect on your decision.

The members of Lutheran's Bariatric Staten Island office were outstanding and very helpful. I have not met with my surgeon yet, however, I have heard that patients and hospital staff speak very highly of him.

I had an excellent first impression of my surgeon. This is an excellent program overall with aftercare emphasized. All aspects pf he procedure were instructed.
