Dr. Seun is definately the best. Many Drs. and Nurses had recommended him and they were 100% correct. On his office staff Joan was especially helpful. I had my surgery on Aug. 26. 2013 and have already lost over 50 lbs. My desire to eat has been drastically diminished

The first thing you notice about Dr. Adeyeri is his good sense of humor and willingness to discuss all your questions. On the day of surgery all that changes. I noticed the Dr. spending time for a last thorough review of my file before the surgery. I was confident that nothing was being missed or overlooked. In other words, he knew the time and place for levity and seriousness. Melissa has been a constant support with email throughout the entire process. I am confident that I found the best surgeon and hospital for this procedure.

Having been recommended to Dr. Seun I must admit that it was a god sent. The travel time for me was much longer than other facilities that are avail closer to home but I have no regrets. Dr. Seun and his staff are truly wonderful and have been very attentive both at the office and even during phone conversations. Also a plus was the attending nurse when I was in recovery, I will truly be grateful for her patience and tender care and also her comforting words during those difficult first 24 hrs. I truly am healthier, no more blood pressure meds and also my border-line diabetes have all been resolved with my weight loss. I can walk better without being out of breathe and can sleep better at night. Total weight loss..95 lbs!! I came to Dr. Sowemimo 2 1/2 years ago and went to a seminar at Centrastate Medical Center. Had the lap band in Sept of 2011, it was a smooth and pleasant transition into weight loss. My main reason for getting the procedure was to better control my diabetes. Within on week of the surgery, my diabetes came into control and stopped taking all my medications. I have since lost about 60lbs and look and feel better than I have in years. I'm 76 yrs old.

Dr. Sowemimo and his staff were all excellent and attended to all my needs before and after surgery. I would highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Seun is a fantastic doctor/surgeon and an even more wonderful person. I was a Lap Band to Sleeve revision and at first was very skeptical of a second procedure. After he explained the pros and cons, he made a clear case that the benefits completely outweighed the risks and he was right!

3 months after my Surgery, I feel better than ever before and am down 45lbs and almost at my thinnest weight and for sure, at my healthiest. He and his office have been there to answer and questions or concerns and are always very helpful. This was the best decision I could have made for myself and I have him to thank.

I am a nurse and we all know we are the worst patients and the most critical.
I met Dr. Adeyeri as a member of our medical staff a few years prior to having my surgery. Even before being his patient my impression of him was that he was always professional, knowledgeable, confident and a true gentleman.
I came to him after my own research and was the "well prepared" patient. I realized there was still so much to learn and understand about gastric surgery. From the first appointment Dr. Adeyeri was excellent, always willing to answer questions and explain anything that I asked. He was honest and upfront with his responses. He has developed an excellent program for pre and post surgery. He makes sure his patients are both knowledgeable and prepared. The seminar and support group (which I thought would be a waste for a nurse) proved to be so valuble to me. He doesn't believe in the notion, of most surgeons, in that you had surgery and you are good to go. He has a great aftercare program and makes sure patients follow up. He actually attends support group and will answer questions when needed.
His office staff is fabulous. Mara is so sweet and compassionate she never makes you feel like you are a bother. She follows up with you through out the whole process so things don't get missed or you get lost. She is a God send to him and his patients. Kristin the dietician was excellent, she reviewed the diet and expectations. She was always available to ask questions to. Maureen the nurse was wonderful, understanding, compassionate and knowledgeable. She never judges you or your questions. She takes as much time as you need to make you feel comfortable. I see her at the support group and she stays for hours after if needed to makes sure she answers patients questions.
Dr. Adeyeri is clearly a highly skilled surgeon that coupled with his bedside manner makes him a great practitioner. He is always pleasant and upbeat when you see him, can put you at ease with his humor and make you comfortable and confident by his sheer wealth of skill and knowledge.
Rating Dr. Adeyeri seems like a difficult task, see I don't think a ten is enough. He is truly a wonderful man and outstanding surgeon. I could not have made a better choice and would recommend him even more.
I had a gastric sleeve (VSG) done on 10/30/13 and it was an overwhelming wonderful experience. I can't say thank you enough to Dr. Adeyeri and all his staff. I feel like I have been given a gift to make the rest of my life better and healthy than what it has been. Gerri

I know how important it is to make this commitment and Dr. Seun compassionately pushes me to do what is best for myself. love his friendly and caring office staff. they know who I am and always make me feel welcomed.

I had Gastric Sleeve surgery on 10/21/2013. Post surgery I did not experience nausea or any discomfort that couldn't be managed with Tylenol.

THE GOOD NEWS - Down 30 pounds just 8 days out from surgery.

Dr. Seun and him team walked me through every step of the process. No questions or concerns were left open.

I had my Gastric Sleeve surgery on 10/21/13. In a week I have lost 20lbs! I owe this all to first, God, my husband and family, and lastly Dr. Seun Sowemimo and the wornderful staff at Central Jersey Bariatrics. Dr. Seun has a very comprehensive bariatric program that consists of more education, nutrition, than pushing surgery. The information meeting and support groups were so rich with information and compassion. Dr. Seun was straight forward and caring. My entire process leading up to the actual surgery day was a smooth transition. I recommend Dr. Seun and CJ Bariatrics to anyone.
