Protein Blast Drink by Designer Protein, LLC - Protein Drink

I bought this in 2 flavors...Grape Shape and Kiwi Strongberry. Both are stong in flavor (you can tell what flavor you are drinking) and the kiwi is the consistency of crystal light...the grape is a bit thicker, but over ice will be good.

The serving size is 1 bottle (16 fl. oz) so the bottle should last some time. It has 40 grams of protein and only 1 gram of carbs.

I like it because it's not like the thick shakes. Its more like a sour Koolaid but w/40 grams of protein,170 cal,only 1gr sugar,1 carb.

I purchased this product to stop hair loss from not getting enough protein. At 40 grams per bottle, my hair is growing back in and I like it. I have to mix it half and half with my Wal-Mart flavored water (mix the flavors for more variety) and I am able to easily get my protein for the day. What a good way to go - better than the powder and the milk based products. I recommend you try this product.

UGH. I bought one of every flavor, and ended up throwing them all out!!! Has the consistency of un-chilled Jell-o. Nasty smell, nasty taste, even cold!!! Yuck Overall!

I found this product today at GNC, and thought I would try it because 16 ounces have 40g of Proteing from Designer Whey. I put some ice with it and put it into my (tippee) cup and if you drink it slow it tastes really good. I have only tried KiwiStrongberry but they had many other flavors available.

The Strawberry taste like the pink chalk you drink for an upper GI...YUCK!

I recently stopped by to see my nutritionist before going out of town on a road trip and she showed me a bottle of Designer Whey Kiwi-Strongberry and told me I could get 40 of my 50-60gms of protein per day by drinking this 1 bottle and on the road it would be easy, rather then worring about restruarants, etc. I went to GNC and found 3 different flavors (KIWI STRONG BERRY, ORANGE PASSION FIT AND TROPICURL BREEZE) The first two I listed taste like a crystal lite/ with a gatoraide splash combo. The tropicurl Breeze has a strong aftertaste, so I wouldn't recommend that one. I've been so excited about the product that I called the company, they make 6 different flavors including ABSberry, grape something and somekind of tea. I'm looking forward to tasting the other flavors. My husband picked up a GNC gold card today which gives us 20% off the first 7 days of each month. The ready to drink blasts are $2.99/bottle and $2.10/bottle with discount. You can get a case of 24 from a distributor for $60.00 + tax, but are then paying $2.66/bottle and all 24 have to be the same flavor. I would not drink the powdered form because I can't stand chalky tastes, but I would recommend everyone try each of the six flavors that come ready to drink and see what ones they like. Good luck.

I was given some of these as samples by the GNC manager-they are great! 40 grams of protein in each and they taste pretty good-especially the ABSberry. They are a bit pricey but if you want a quick protein fix, this is it!

I was expecting this to taste just as described to me...like KoolAid only a little thicker. It was absolutely disgusting and left an awful aftertaste in my mouth for hours, even after drinking water. I would not recommend this to anyone, but tastes are different.
