Premier Protein Chocolate Shake by Premier Protein® - Protein Drink

I love premier protein. I started using premier protein prior to my surgery and was glad that I could still tolerate it after my DS, my husband also drinks premier and he had RNY. I prefer the chocolate, the vanilla is too sweet tasting for me. My husband however, enjoys both flavors. They also make strawberry, which is yummy, but we stopped drinking it because there was always a gritty part at the end. I am not sure if things have changed, so this may not be the case anymore. These shakes are on the thick side, so if you prefer the thinner shakes you may not enjoy these.

Also note, for my husbands surgery he was supposed to get at least 14g of protein a meal 6x's a day and not eat/drink more than 4oz at a time. Premier falls a little short on meeting this goal, 4oz has roughly 11g of protein. Thankfully, premier now comes with a resealable cap so you can store them easily.

I used these 3 times a day with a small meal for dinner for my 2 week pre-op diet for VSG surgery.

This pre-mixed protein shake is a godsend for a busy mom!! I originally was trying to mix shakes, but it became very cumbersome, especially in the morning when I have to get my 4 & 6 year olds to school!! These are easy to throw in a small cooler bag to take to work and can be used as a meal replacement or a snack!! The chocolate is pretty good (tastes like the "old" Slimfast shakes without the "aluminum can" taste!!) but I did not really care for the strawberries-n-cream, although my friend LOVES those!! It just comes down to personal preference, but this has helped me a lot, mostly for the convenience factor!! Also, since it is pre-mixed but not too thin or too thick, you can drink it in a reasonable amount of time without it getting watered down or warm like shakes that you have to mix!! Finally, for the price, it is absolutely worth it!! I get mine at Sam's Club and a 12-pack is only $18.98 and each shake has 30g of protein!! Can't beat that!! Try it, especially if you find yourself too busy sometimes to mix!!

This is very tasty......I've only had the chocolate and it reminds me of chocolate milk when I was a kid!!! Not thick......just right!! It comes in vanilla also......haven't tried it yet.

I just bought this from Kroger haven't tried it yet but it's under 200 cal and has 30 grams of protein low carb and no sugar so we will see

I get mine free with scar cream every month delivered to my door. I get 36 chocolate and 36 vanilla. They also sent me multi vitamin even though my insurance company did not approve them. They added the vitamins as a courtesy. I went to Insure Nutrition and they did all the paper work. I will get this every month. What a great company.

This is an awesome tasting Protein Shake, one of the best that I've tasted yet.
