I love Dutch Chocolate and Banana the best!

They tasted chalky at first, but I got used to them and lived on them for a time. But, then they started to taste worse and worse and I acutally got a little nauseated from them. But, they worked for me to lose weight and that's worth its weight in gold! The ready-made drinks taste better than in powder form.

I use the Medifast ready to drink shakes, the make yourself 70 shakes and the appetite suppressant shakes. They all have good to excellent taste (flavors vary) and are a great source of getting the nutrition you need before and after surgery.

Depending on the type of shake you order, the price will vary. The chocolate & Swiss mocha are the best!

I have been on MediFast for 3mo, trying to lose pre-op weight. I cannot seem to be 100% compliant, but have lost 23lbs in 12 weeks. Presumably, better compliance would yield better weight loss. Some of the products are terrible.I rely mostly on chocolate shakes, chicken noodle soup,both of which are very good, and some occasional variety. I stared with a variety starter pack, which let me taste a number of things,and decide what I could tolerate.I don't feel especially hungry, but still struggle with emotional eating. There is a nurse at MediFast who actually calls you back if you put a question on the internet site.This is very helpful. Am not yet post-op, so can't comment on that at this time

I have been on this product for 2 months as part of a program to help me lose weight prior to surgery. I find that if I make it up a day ahead of time and refrigerate it, it thickens and the taste resembles a real milkshake. Sometimes I add fruit for a variation. It is very tasty and very nutritional, and I am sure I will use this as a supplement post-surgery.

This product product is low in carbohydrates and high in protein and is extremely tasty.
