Trish Martin Other DNP, CRNP

Bariatric Program Manager and Nurse Practitioner   Trish Martin, DNP has been working within the University of Maryland Medical System for the better part of 25 years as an intensive care nurse, an educator for the School of Nursing and as a Nurse Practitioner at Shock Trauma.  Most recently Dr. Martin spent a year as a Clinical Educator in Accident and Emergency in Rwanda, East Africa through a unique opportunity through the University of Maryland School of Nursing.     Dr. Martin received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  She received her Master’s Degree in Nursing with a concentration in Trauma/Critical Care from the University of Maryland School of Nursing.  She went on to receive her post graduate degree as a Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice both from the University of Maryland School of Nursing.  Her interests include emergency and critical care nursing, wound care, obesity related diseases and exercise therapy.
