The nurses and staff were wonderful. They even found a cot for my husband to sleep on during the nights of my stay.

I think the hospital could have been cleaner. I never saw a housekeeper mop the floor. I also had a hard time with one of the CNA's. When I was ready to get up and walk after surgery she told me now to. I told her I was going to anyway

Everyone was very friendly. 3rd floor ICU was noisy, even during the night, nurses seemed to not even try to be quiet. Response to requests were slow at times.

My hospital stay was comfortable and the staff was really great, even including the house keeping and dietary staff. There was a problem with my call button and I had to go 2 hours without my pain and anti-nausea medicine. They had to actual give me morphine after being off of it for 24 hours.

The staff was wonderful...especially Patsy Beason...very compassionate person. Dr De La Torre is top rated also. My appreciation goes out to the many nurses like Nancy Corbin, Amanda, Belinda and others on the 3rd floor for the exceptional care that I was given during my recovery time. Love you guys...

The only problem that I really had at the hospital is when I was being prepped for surgery, the nurse that put my IV in put in my wrist! An aweful spot, I couldn't move my wrist at all and it was very painful. My nurse in my unit moved it to a more suitable spot to make me more comfortable.

Overall, I had a good experience at DePaul. The nursting staff was efficient, cheerful and helpful. That was something I was worried about after reading reviews from 2004 and 2003 where WLS patients complained about understaffing and lack of concern by the nursing department.

I have to say that the staff there right down to the food people were great. If ya need anything they are right there. They got a cot for my daughter to sleep on she stayed one night but after that I felt I would be ok . I could not have had any better care anywhere they checked on me all the time . I would go back again to this hosptial I loved it/
